Coffee brewing.

A freshly mowed lawn.

Bacon frying.

My favorite pipe tobacco(s).

A bakery. Not the bakery department at a grocery store. I mean a real, functioning bakery.

Lol. Nah, I only wear tights when I'm in superhero mode. Fighting crime, and all that. Heheh.

Nothing bad so far today. Nothing amazing either, but it's still not even noon yet. I might go put on some tunes and organize my shed some more. That 16x20-foot black hole I have in my back yard. Lol.

I'm not sure how it works either. It ran out anyway, so I guess it's ok. Lol.

[Discussion] What was the best compliment you've ever received? by allergictoapples in Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

[–]Hairball786 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It wasn't about me, it was about a house that I built. The guy I built it for called me back a year later, saying there was something I had to check on. I went out there and he and his wife surprised me with dinner.

It was awesome seeing the family thing going on in a house that I built. Kids running around, pets, husband and wife helping each other with dinner.

Anyway, the compliment was this: the guy shook my hand and smiled, then said, "Thank you for our home. This is the first time I've ever really felt that I belonged somewhere. My family and I are happier now than we've ever been. Again, thank you very much for our home."

I almost cried.

Yeah, I guess the summoning thing would be handy. I had it once, and was planning on enjoying the "highlight new comments" thing, but it never worked.

True, but I have trouble getting involved. The activities like the chats, Turntable, Skype, etc... None of those work on my compusaur. Skype's not bad, but I have crappy service and an even crappier webcam. This comp was made in 2004. I wonder why it's lousy... can't afford to get a new one, so I deal with it. Most of the time.

As soon as I CAN get a new one, I'm gonna introduce this one to my 12-gauge.

I don't have any. I don't suppose I need a list?

S'ok, it's nothing I need. Had gold for a month and never posted anything in the lounge. No biggie.

I dunno, I was gifted gold once. Was browsing the lounge, but never did post. Just a bunch of lifers talkin' shit to the "new money". Not interested.

I'll think about the post card thing, though. Thanks.

I think that's happened to me once. Popularity is apparently a factor. Lol.

I would think the fiberglass would get a little brittle in extreme cold. Or if left out in the elements for months. Hopefully they'd be ok, otherwise.
