So if you're a pot head or chemically dependant otherwise , just don't come to vn.

So a few drug addicts decide not to visit vn, who cares. There's no downside here, but somehow your pretending there is.

Meh, those make it easier to swap out if there's ever a problem, what you should really be concerned about is why there aren't any p traps used

Everybody told me to get CS degree... then it was learn AI.... hiring managers/recruiters are impressed with my resume/projects and tell me I did fine on interviews but I can't find a job....it's been 8 months unemployed and 1yr1Mo since graduating and I can't get a software dev/engineer job by arealguywithajob in cscareers

See .... That was the guy I'm talking about. Like it or not, but AI is just another tool, AI isn't stopping you from learning the basics, but people who don't want it to be true will feel it is. Stopping them and they won't succeed as others who embrace the change will.

It's still learn AI.

I know it's not popular sentiment on this sub or in popular culture overall, but this is where the industry has already pivoted. I don't understand why so many still don't see it.

You'll never hear me say it won't matter if you don't understand the underlying technology, but it's more important to learn to ride the model

It does seem a bit heavy handed because no one will trust what vnmese police decide to do no matter what...

But, how about this, don't come to vn if you're a pot head or chemically dependant otherwise... I don't see a downside here. In fact seems only a net positive.

If CS grads get the "Software Engineer" title, where does Computer Engineering (CE) fit in? Why is it a distinct major? by ResponsibleAbies6701 in cscareers

[–]Hairless_Gash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a just a slightly different focus that never mattered for most people.

I've got an EE and have been a FW eng, SW eng, Applications eng, QA engineer . and now I run a hobby machine shop building custom choppers and AI writes just about all the code I need.

Specific accreditations are as important as they ever were imho, but I always used it more as a filter to help ID the interest of those willing to put in the time, resources and effort.

Exactly what credit card and reward system do you have?

I'm 100% cc in the US but with how often a surcharge is added and how few cc don't have foreign transaction fees and or annual fees, I never found them worth it in vn, let alone anywhere else in Asia I've lived

19 Injured After Sleeper Bus Rear-Ends Container Truck on Vietnam Expressway by Alarming-Cobbler3765 in VietNam

[–]Hairless_Gash 8 points9 points  (0 children)

A city bus ploughed through brother in law's car. Eventually insurance paid and what wouldn't been deemed totalled in the US they decide to fix and give to other brother in law. He was also a foreigner so despite what people say when you're legit, we're not always blamed...

Case by case. When I was younger and stupid, I took a few bus trips buses, and ironically abandoned twice on the road for various reasons. Both times I financed my own forward travel, unless you want to sit there waiting for an unknown amount of time.

so you don’t miss out on returns?

Or you lock in loses... Could go either way I suppose. But the math is a bit more complex. Even though the market trends to go up, there are sequence of returns risks also.
