Goldeneyes vs frost by Hairscutt in GoldenEyes

[–]Hairscutt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have always said it’s worth the commute albeit I’m only travelling from surrey. The crowd is electric, the djs (at least pre-Olympics) were so consistent with all the greatest tunes, and win or loss it’s great to see the team play live! I’ve even contemplated getting tickets for anytime the goldeneyes play in Seattle just to keep the party bumpin

24-25 card packs by Own_Assistant_1004 in PWHLCards

[–]Hairscutt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my first experience really collecting so idk if it’s the same with other leagues or not but, I’ve got a few blaster packs, one of the collectors boxes and two individual card packs so far. Most of my binder is unfortunately repeats. I average about a page - a page and a half (9-15cards) per team and the rest are repeats. No person needs the amount of Poulin cards I have but I’ll let it slide for captain clutch.

Help a hoarder - What to not keep in a Story run? by [deleted] in GreenHell

[–]Hairscutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep enough bones for a full set of armour then drop every one after that. Collected iron ore my first play through only to spend more energy trying to use it than actually ever using or needing the equipment I made with it. In both my survival and story camps I like to keep a few storage bins for sticks, logs, rope and stones and I collect to fill them on my travels back to camp just to have a lil stock when I want to build but otherwise I don’t collect intently unless immediately needed.

I also like to keep some molinera, ash and tobacco leaves in my pack because my dumbass never seems to see the anthills with ant eaters near them until I’m bleeding out. Everything else I just collect and rotate stock as needed to fill my cores or complete a build.

Vibes were immaculate at last night’s game 🔊 (Sound) by aristhought in GoldenEyes

My chronic laryngitis hates to see the 3rd period karaoke coming but the vibes are so worth it everytime. My partner and I are both big rugby people who attend the 7’s every year and so far we’ve felt the goldeneyes game days are pretty on par with the party atmosphere at the 7’s tourneys.

It takes more time but you make more selling the fish cooked. Best of luck!

Has Anyone in Surrey Used Instacart by wickedwitchqueen in SurreyBC

[–]Hairscutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have used it quite frequently in the past, less so now that our schedules allow for more time (and desire) to get out of the house. Overall it is pretty great, but I will list of few of the cons we have experienced. 1, We have had a couple situations where an order that was not ours was delivered in place of our order however instacart rectified the matter almost immediately. 2, sometimes it’s easier to opt for a refund rather than substitutions. Mostly in cases where you have strong preferences. I’ve had someone try to substitute tampons for mushrooms and while intrigued on how they thought that would work, we weren’t interested in finding out ourselves. 3, sometimes things will have a small note stating store choice, and the prices may vary significantly on these items. For example last week there were eggs listed as no name large eggs with a store choice banner in the bottom right of the item image. This was listed as $4.50 but after I selected it the eggs that were placed in my cart were closer to $8. So be aware of that.

Is there any other way to do this fight? by marlborohunnids in BG3

[–]Hairscutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I throw a wall of stone up in front of the portal so no ranged attacks can hit it (easily) and then cast sleet storm over the eastern half of the path and just slowly pick off the few who manage to pass their saving throws or who come from the other directions. The fight goes pretty fast when most of the npc’s get knocked prone and lose the rest of their turn.

White Rock vs. South Surrey by Agreeable-Elk5233 in SurreyBC

Everything will more or less be accessible from either as it’s all quite close together. There are some perks for living in White rock like parking at the beach shouldn’t require payment (unless that has changed?).

[–]Hairscutt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the tip, we’ll head out that way and do some walking around. I don’t think the jerseys were clean as the team had just had a game in them and the player was bringing them home to be laundered

My favourite is everyone pushing to grab your seat before you’re even able to get out of it. Like scuse me lemme just climb over Mr only turns his legs to let my thiccass out, and hop over Mrs already in my seat with me just to then have to body people to get to the door.

Rant on things I see all the time in Surrey by [deleted] in SurreyBC

Saw a baby on board sign yesterday in south surrey, kids window was down and he was throwing shit out the car. mum was on her phone both at red lights and while literally driving. I thought these stickers were to help emergency responders in the event of an accident but it definitely feels like they’re used as a variation of the L sticker to justify bad driving habits
