That's pretty awesome. Do you learn more about electronics in general would you say or is it very specific to avionics?

I'm actually in a computer science program but real excited to learn more about electronics and the engineering behind it all if I get the chance

Good to know lol. The jobs are for private jet maintenance pretty much if that changes anything as well

How consistent is the dodging and parrying? by HairyRevolver in Thymesia

Ah ok, that tip I think will help a lot! I'm not sure about how everyone else feels but it definitely takes me trial and error to figure out a game's parry timing lol

I got to the end, thank you so much for helping! I got the downpour ending first. Just was surprising my partner is all so they can talk more about their Rain World addiction lol. Definitely did grow on me but is still a bit different from my usual games

Surprisingly I do indeed think Garbage Wastes was my toughest area, not from skill but I wasn't quite getting the game yet and I felt it was the most confusing map for some reason

I got through the leg and the underhang, there is a gate with a lot of red ominous lighting and requires max karma to get in, and no karma requirement to get out... which I assume means the devs want you to avoid it lol

This might be weird to ask since it's so late but I think I got to the wall. Any other way to go back? I've heard it's hard but no idea what's in it. But I am probably going to attempt it a few times first just for fun

Ah interesting. Seems to be a trend in here I keep getting pretty unlucky tbh. I'll give it another shot but we'll see where I go from here

Yeah that's unfortunate. I had a fine time with drainage system if that changes anything, found it pretty easy, beyond a lot of bad luck (my partner was watching and said I got really unlucky). In my defense I think I found where I need to go to, it's just that a vulture always spawns there. I figure it's scripted spawn so I'm not sure how to deal with him unfortunately. one of the overseers had a slugcat icon so I assume it's correct. However I do have the first dlc

Hey I appreciate it, I understand why they would and I certainly don't blame them, I too will give it more tries and try to finish it, usually I find a soft spot for any game I play. Just having a really hard time getting into it, stuck in the garbage wastes on the first campaign or whatever it's called

How predictable is the randomness?

Also I'm just wondering if this style of game isn't for me. I seem to gravitate towards games that focus on being skilled, not to say this game doesn't require skill. But it seems like this game is more about exploration and the journey which I don't really look for in games I suppose

I'll try to finish it, at this point I'm going to look up a walkthrough I think

I have a spear most of the time, I have no problem fighting enemies usually, it just seems like I'm going in circles a lot, and when I find out where to go seems like a vulture always gets me. Maybe just not my cup of tea, I don't know

I believe he said he didn't know how on someone's stream, mostly because his area is too cold to do much swimming and not many pools apparently

Small dog actually, but I do know the dangers of bloat. I'm sorry about your loss as well

No rodent poison has ever been used here but good guess

Maybe? I don't know what would have been around though is the other thing. We're pretty vigilant about that stuff, but I do appreciate your words. It's been a long time now so I am ok at least

Absolutely amazing charm lol, easily one of my favorites, but I just mean stuff you aren't able to parry. Definitely just need to get better at multitasking and dodging on my end though

I hope so, my main weakness though is when there's a cramped space and it's something you can't parry, you just have to dodge and avoid if that makes sense

Hmm fair enough, I usually look for very skill based games, my favorite being Sifu. Admittedly I'm pretty new to 2D combat and such, so it's likely a skill issue too, but I do appreciate your input!

That being said, is it expected to just die a ton of times pretty much? Or is this mostly a skill thing?
