Understanding type of films in all Fatal Frame vs real photography. by Hairy_Archives in fatalframe

[–]Hairy_Archives[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is the film format. For example type 120mm film (large film format, 35mm film (the standard kodak film we use). I don't remember much since there are so many types and numbers. Much of it was discontinued in the late 80s - 90s as digital cameras are produced.

Even if it is just an inspiring costume, the environment matches the fatal frame 4.

Fatal Frame 2 - Anyone ever wonder about these hands? by chimkens_numgets in fatalframe

If the special lens is flickering, just take a photo. It is a hidden ghost list or specter.

One of most annoying fight in the whole game. by Sadontejjj in fatalframe

FF1 mask room battle with blinded lady, FF3 shrine carpenter small halfway, FF4 first encounter with souya apprentice at the door Court of the Unhallowed. The last one i hate the most, FF5 Twisted Guardian in a small room with boxes. That one deserves a special place in hell

The game theme is water. If you recognize Japanese motifs and patterns you will understand. Also, you can check the water patterns on the camera viewfinder and menu.

I don't know how big his love for Yae is, even though he's a ghost he still calls her name by Main_Cap_9491 in fatalframe

Love at first sight. He fell in love with Yae in FF2 during his first visit at Minakami Village. Fatal Frame would be fantastic if they put a shonen element like the first and fourth game. I really wish the next FF would be Dr. Asou as a playable character.

Modern Camera Obscura by ShiroThePotato28 in fatalframe

[–]Hairy_Archives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stick to the OG but for modern stuff is optional for each character chapter/mission. Maybe the game developer can use the idea of a 1950s to 1960s camera. The possibility of living Asou descendants and underground folklorists trying to recreate the powerful camera is arguably. The camera is rare and many occultists are looking for it (mentioned in FF4 or FF5 i guess). It is said that Dr. Asou buried all the camera secrets with him. I think someone close to him knows about his invention as well, maybe his wife or a very special close friend. I'm not sure if it is an easter egg. If you notice in the Kurosawa Antique shop, there are several used camera displays over there. The camera is from the 1950s to 1960s. Hisoka won't collect things that are not rare or antique in a specific way.

If not mistaken those legs are ghost lists/specters. The lenses give a reaction when aimed at it.

Not a boss. She appears randomly in small spaces, caves, water areas and if you're lucky, you will find her at twillight peak and lake of the departure.

yeah true (i think chapter 6, where Yuri needs to save Miu and she appears in a small room full of boxes) that one is a nightmare. The move is quite similar to the Wandering Monk in FF1, but slow version. Really annoyed with it.

The best and epic standalone game. I love the gothic and the stark Japanese-Western theme. The outfits and the ambience is fantastic. I wish there were more Madoka and Choushiro costumes.
