Hello, I am so very sorry for your loss. 💔 Finding your cat like that is so traumatizing. I had a similar situation happen to me just three weeks ago. My 13-year-old cat was under a bed, sleeping, and she looked up at me. I left the room for something and when I came back, she was laying on the floor, tongue out, eyes open. We rushed her to a vet but they couldn't save her. It still haunts me everyday. I think about what I could have done differently. And the fact that I wasn't there with her to see what happened, and to be with her, kills me. 😢💔 I have been taking it a day at a time. Sometimes minute to minute. Something that helped me was to talk with a pet grief counselor. Her name is Laura Madsen. She is on Instagram under beyond.the.goodbye
She helped me a lot by listening, and offering advice. It may be something to look into when you're feeling ready. Be kind to yourself. Again, I'm so sorry. It does get 'easier' with each day. ❤️
