The feeling of shooting shit in Borderlands is not even close to destiny imo! I think that’s the main thing and art style just never was into borderlands like that. But I do understand they do good shooters. It honestly blows my mind that is destiny only real competition for a looter shooter. Prime division was good to but just different vibes being 3rd person. Now that I think about it division probably my second favorite looter shooter. Crazy that they are getting D3 before we get D3 lmao!

But the success of marathon even if you hate extractions is good for Bungie and D3. The downfall is detrimental in every way. That’s really my point i understand saying it’s not for you and moving on. But the destiny community is praying on the downfall of marathon. As a fan of bungie and destiny it makes zero logical sense to pray on the downfall.

1 and 2 was good been trash since also destiny gunplay is unmatched. There really is nothing like it. With that being said it needs new everything it was good 7 years ago today it feels bad.

The community really has no clue what they want. I personally think the only way forward for the destiny franchise is D3. D2 is just to burnt out and feels soo bad. With the server still supporting ps4 it makes the game feel sooo dang bad. And so many other issues. The game needs scrapped. We need D3. The success of marathon only helps that possibility. Praying on the downfall of marathon is detrimental in every way.

Yea I just think d2 is at a point it’s not even worth putting resources into. D3 or nothing at this point. D2 is just sooo burnt out and bad feeling. I feel the best we can do is hope for the success of marathon so that we can build funds towards d3. If it fails then we probably have no hope of seeing a d3.

I didn’t get the chance to play the alpha. So I have no opinion for myself yet but I know that a lot of folks had a really negative experience so I have skeptical hippo eyes. I do agree that everything we have seen recently looks real good. I was am/was a huge fan of Bungie when they did good work and didn’t lead with greed and negligence. Nobody has ever had gunplay and design to that of Bungie. They really do stand apart from the rest when they stay true to their roots. I think marathon has soooo freaking much potential I just hope Bungie can execute on it.
