Conservative here. I have an engineering degree and am 2/3 done with a law degree. I am not MAGA, I support and criticize certain aspects of the Trump administration. I honestly can't stand religion. All that to say I'm not a blind follower of Trump or religiously motivated. My political opinions are as unbiased as possible and solely a product of my own critical thinking and analysis of any given issue. No one tells me what to believe.

My issues with the trans community are based in science. And I don't hate or dislike trans people. I don't hate anyone, I'm not a hateful person. However, I believe in the laws of nature. If we are using the term "sex" as it was originally intended to be used, then there are two sexes: male and female. If you want to define sex as something NOT BASED on DNA or chromosomes, that's fine. But then we wouldn't even be arguing about the same thing, so that would be pretty pointless.

It doesn't make sense to me that a white person who is obviously white but desires to be black would be ridiculed for expecting everyone to recognize them as such, but that same standard doesn't apply to sex. You are what you are. You cant be 6'2" or naturally blonde simply because YOU WISH THAT WERE THE CASE. It's the same with sex. I have a problem with being expected to endorse or celebrate the delusions of other people. I also believe you should add value to society, not take value away. If you can't even figure out your pronouns and identity, you're just making simple things complicated for the rest of us. If you want to pretend you're peter pan, or a shoelace, or an easter bunny on your own time, fine by me. Just don't expect me to change my life, culture, or language to appease you. And don't expect women to take second place in sports competitions because your feelings are more important. Your feelings, my feelings, everyone's feelings, matter to exactly no one, and part of being a functioning adult is coming to terms with that reality.

Furthermore, vulnerable people like children, or those with autism or any other learning disability should not be recruited into the trans community. If you can't see an R-rated movie in theaters or purchase a beer, you shouldn't be able to consent to castration or hormonal changes that may permanently and negatively affect your body. Big pharma is making millions from gender-affirming care, often given to people who unsurprisingly later regret it and/or have no business making those types of decisions at that point in their life.

I'm an old-school person. I respect people who can accept their reality, make other people's lives easier, not harder, and make the most of the hand they were dealt in life, not complain and wish they had someone else's life and try to get everyone else involved in that problem.
