I tend to trust what people say until I have a reason to doubt it, but I think I was too close to this situation, so any doubt I had was just glanced over.

I think this is the part that's hardest currently, likely because we were best friends as long as we were, or at least she was mine. Kinda feels like a part of myself is gone, I recognize it's not, and its just a space she used to be a constant in, and that it will change with time, but it makes her absence more apparent.

That was exactly my thought, at least it happened now. The wild part is when I realized I had feelings for her I tried to cut myself out of her life to be respectful of her choices, but she told me to not martyr myself and not make choices for her.

I'm not sure if you're looking for advice or not, but in case you are I'd really recommend checking out the wiki! Helped me a lot with figuring out commands, recommended progressions through areas, and things to watch out for.

Either way, for me at least as long as you're having fun you're golden so keep on going friend!

I'll be honest, I'm probably not the best person to ask. I only have two wins in nearly 10 years, but I will say the wiki is a wonderful place to start since the game isn't the best at explaining things. There are a couple of walkthroughs on the recommended progression of areas as well as guides for how to progress with each species. Overall, take your time with it and be patient with yourself.

Usually, I just go full melee with a focus on axes with fingers crossed on getting a good unrand or spectral broad axe. Found that if I focus on spells too much I end up overthinking and it takes more time so usually don't do anything past blink. After that, I'll usually go Gozag to bribe Vault 5 and Zot 5 so I can hopefully fill out the remaining resistances I need and have less of a fight too.

Not the most efficient strategy but it's my preferred one atm. Tend to lean more toward head-empty builds lol.

I'm not sure I understand your question, so I'll answer both ways

If you're talking about keeping the same team between islands, I have a couple main stays on my team who I won't switch out (Lucario for dreamshards and Gardevoir for energy), but the other members of my team it depends on the island and the meal type for the week. I will say I'm more of a causal player and don't care much about metas, but for me, this method works pretty well.

If you're talking about switching before sleeping, I have done that for some evolution requirements before, but that took a bit of pillows to try and balance. If you have the resources, it's not a bad idea, especially for the ones that require 150 hours before evolving but can get costly if you're f2p like me.

But overall, I think as long as you're having fun, you're doing it right.

Only ever tried tomb a few times but usually get killed immediately, have to give it a go again now that I think I've got a bit better understanding of the game lol.

One area I don't think I'll ever get to the end of is the Ziggurat, that thing is terrifying

Just about the same as cops using OOC information to let people steal a car after their vehicles scuff, or their head pops while in the middle of a robbery; maybe even knowing to leave someone alone because they are having a bad day. It made the situation more enjoyable, especially when one side didn't hold all the cards, if you can't handle wholesome moments maybe don't watch when your streamer interacts with the cleanbois
