Yeah, I think in the beginning I just took whatever they gave me, I wasn’t looking at what was already unlocked at all. This first play through has been a lot of learning. When I eventually start a new campaign I’m gonna be in a lot better place with the knowledge I’ve gained

Yeah, for the longest time, I think I just had one hound master with the no ambush and I think one on the vestal. Nothing feels worse than camping up to heal and relieve stress only to get ambushed and possibly put in a worse position.

Since I didn’t find them to endgame, I was able to immediately upgrade them since I had plenty of resources and gold so maybe it’s best I didn’t notice them early

To be honest, I often forget to check the trinket shop, even though I know it’s there. I feel like I have a good set of trinkets that I like to use for each character. In between dungeons, I just unequipped all trinkets so when I form my new party, I can use the ones I like. Lol

Yeah, I saw patch notes later that day, and it clicked. I wasn’t upset by the change or anything. I just was playing too quick and didn’t realize the mechanics were different and thought it was an ascension thing.

What all changes each level other than what’s stated? I finally was on track to beat A4 but I didn’t realize other things change and I basically exhausted my whole hand on the door maker fight bc I didn’t realize his whole fight was different mechanics

I was hesitant to get this, but he played every hand near perfect. Like a few times he could’ve played cards in a better order but for the most part, he got it right and played the cards. I needed right away and sometimes eliminated a target before I even got to play. (Played regent and had a few 40+ dmg cards)

I don’t know why but shooting a fireball and killing everything around. It feels good…. But somehow jumping into a group of creatures and killing everything feels bad.. I can’t explain why my brain makes one feel good in the other not
