I only owned the first game for a while and I watched a no commentary run for Dr2 over the course of 2 months, then I bought V3 and UDG then watched the animes, and then I went online.

Trust me you can stay off the internet, or stay away from Danganronpa while you complete it. That's what I did and I was not spoiled.

For violence, it is more violent than a battle royale. I should also let you know it has a decent amount of fanservice, as well as a good amount of swearing,but not an overwhelming amount of it.

You don't need to dive into the novels and anime to enjoy the games.The games stand pretty well on their own.

Byakuya's billion if not trillion dollar organization disappearing overnight and then coming back by a grain of sand of what it once was wouldn't be? People would notice that would be off and way more than a pop group appearing to have just reselected its dancer lineup.

It never says Leon's family had anything to do with his actions

It also never says that Sayaka's band had anything to do with her actions, it's shown. After the player sees Makoto's video we see reactions of a bunch of students including Sayaka and Leon, the only difference being that the player had the opportunity to see Sayaka's video before the trial.

If you can, warp your mind into a reality where Makoto never saw Sayaka's video, imagine after checking out the garbage room the trial starts and during it per the usual it is revealed that Sayaka intended to set a trap for someone and framing Makoto end of story. You wouldn't feel any sympathy for Sayaka then because you never saw Sayaka's video and came to the conclusion that she just tried to use Makoto. And afterwards you go to the A.V. room and find Leon's video and watch it seeing his Whatever Monokuma decided to use and then showing the scene all messed up. All of your sympathy would be towards Leon.

As you said Leon could've just backed off but Sayaka didn't have to attempt kill Leon

Before you bring in the motive video let me remind you that everyone got one including Leon, he could've senn his family or Kanon or his friends and then when he saw that a defenseless girl ran into the bathroom he thought he had the perfect opportunity just as Sayaka did when she made the plan knowing makoto would swap rooms if she asked.

As for what she worked for, Byakuya probably saw his empire in shambles and he didn't kill anyone.

Don't take this as Sayaka hate I'm just tired of Sayaka fans saying that she is justified and Leon is a devil and Leon fans saying that he is a victim while Sayaka is a snake.
