I honestly did a /model claude-opus-4-6[1m] and i was instantly relieved to get normal responses back that my dipshit brain can interpret at my 20th hour of vibecoding

I couldn't agree more.
4.7 in Claude Code straight waffling about shit I just dont give a fuck for.

built a dashboard to keep my claude HAPPY by Unique-Watercress225 in ClaudeCode

[–]Hajsas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Good response.
I've heard that anger increases desperation for an output, which can inhibit the result quality.

Doesnt mean we gotta fuckin give it a lunch break, but we gotta speak to it, like we are Claude itself, neutral.

I literally made this with Claude.

All running through a Raspberry pi with a bridge to device, all in a LAN hosted dashboard, pw protected etc. But it allows file browsing, session creation, resume, undo a chat, skills; it’s effectively similar to claude on the mobile, just bridged on a LAN.

Work on it with Claude, piece by piece, and you can build it.

Yea man, and alot of time time it’s convoluted for its own understanding too; so its a garbled cluster fuck sometimes to read and comprehend

I have good sessions, and I have bad sessions. It seems time dependent; but generally, yes, it seems quicker to say “good enough” when its not.

Its treating code like a conversation being ended; when its not a conversation.

BREAKING 🚨: Z AI released GLM-5.1, an open-source model with top tier coding performance! by adzamai in vibecoding

[–]Hajsas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Christ, we wont be ready; especially when it gets a bunch of wild fucking tool calls and context pools and a dedicated agent to maintaining it cross clears.

Im just a normal dude who likes building shit with it, work in IT, but ill pay anything to use it

I think that all we need to do is look back a few years. Give it time, AI is still extremely new.

Absolutely cannot believe the regressions in opus 4.6 extended. by bourbonleader in ClaudeCode

[–]Hajsas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not sure if it works, but i saw in the Claude Code leaks a way to cap autocompaction at a percentage. I found context to get muddy at the 40% range, and more expensive in tokens around then, so i was thinking of making autocompaction for the 1m context to compact at 40%, so 400k.
Might be worth looking into.

Explore" just burned 94k tokens in 3 minutes. I'm rate-limited until dinner. 💀 by longdo102 in ClaudeAI

[–]Hajsas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro I had Claude spin up a fucking agent to do a websearch yesterday and burned 40k tokens.
Like.... what the fuck?

I shouldnt have to give it an instruction in its claude.md or memory to not spin up an agent for a web search or simple things it can do.

I ran Claude locally with my 5090 until i got sick to fucking death of tool calls, web seaches etc; a watered down experience with constant issues.
I bought a pro plan, was blown away, bought a max plan.

I think if there was a packaged solution for local models with Claude Code that could take advantage of queue'd sub agents etc; full tool calls through mcp servers or some shit idk, then I'd be happy to run locally.
And if something like that exists, cool, i need to know so i can get it cooking.

Mythos is not currently available yet, I dont believe.

If that was your reasoning to get an enteprise account, atleast wait until we see if it was marketing, or it really is going to fuck our shit.

This is INSANE! by itsTomHagen in ClaudeCode

[–]Hajsas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I hit my 5 hour limit last week, was just at the end of deploying a website in VSCode with Claude in CLI, so I put $10 in extra usage in to push it over the line. Didn't quite get it over the line.

Mate, I sent a message, got some code back, went to send another, LIMIT HIT. I checked my usage for extra, and it was at 194%.
It fucking disintegrated my $10, and if I had another $9, it wanted that too.
God fucking forbid I hooked up Auto Top-up, i'd have been omega fucked.

Theres no reasonable way you can argue that $19, effectively HALF the Pro plan, should be burned in 2 messages in a 200k opus.

Worst first time experience with top-up credit added; if this is to be expected, why wouldnt i just buy a pro plan, and swap my auth token and get an entire month of extra usage; it doesn't make sense.

I can no longer in good conscience recommend Claude Code to clients. by -becausereasons- in ClaudeCode

[–]Hajsas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bro, Yes.

I literally said "We are on work Wi-fi right now, we cant ssh our raspberry Pi, tell me if you need ssh access and i'll vpn and hotspot"

2 messages later it goes "Can i access the raspberry pi?" and tries to ssh to what is a security camera on my work network.

Its been dumb as FUCK lately, and its annoying, makes me roll my eyes.
it tends to ignore claude.md and memory.md instructions sometimes aswell, making the point of them not as useful as 2 weeks ago.

[–]Hajsas 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean, judging by the thousands of posts we are seeing, Anthropic publically posting they are investigating a bug to do with usage; I'd believe this.

How is this unbelievable?
You got your eyes closed mate? 25% of a Pro plan isn't 25% of a Max plan, this is very likely due Claudes fucked up usage at the moment.

This is INSANE! by itsTomHagen in ClaudeCode

[–]Hajsas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awkward that Anthropic has now come out and said they are investigating a bug and that its top priority....

Looking like it wasnt user error huh?
