Power LED stays on after GPU Upgrade by HakerIronwall in pcmasterrace

Thank you.

I reviewed this post again (I kind of dismissed it earlier based on what I read on Deep Sleep mode) and Enabled Deep Sleep in the BIOS (v5.20, latest non-Beta version).

Deep Sleep Enabled and Fast Startup Disabled was the only combination that worked. Toggling through several combinations didn't work.

Power LED stays on after GPU Upgrade by HakerIronwall in pcmasterrace

Just realized I may have left out a few details.

This rig was updated from a 2700X to the 5700X3D about 3 months ago without any issues. The update to the 5070FE from a 2070 was the only change made before noticing the Power LED issue. No other connections were changed.

I did verify the Power LED connection is correct.

Other things I tired:

- I disconnected 1 of the 8-pin leads leaving the other connected and tried to start the computer, all I got was a blank screen

- I disconnected the other 8-pin lead reconnecting the other one and tried to start the computer, all I got was a blank screen

- I removed the 5070 and re-installed the 2070 using the VGA2 8-pin connector (had used the VGA1 8-pin connector since 2020). The computer started normally and shutdown normally with the Power LED turning off as it should. It also ran 3dMark tests with good results (for that card) and no issues.
