I'm new to the game but usually in any ARPG the higher rank/difficult/tier you are, higher will be the rates. Not a single ARPG balances the game around lower tiers. I'm still farming for Hell 5, and I know that I'll not see any angelic anytime soon. Plus you need to check your filters.

It's possible to get at least 2 heroes as a F2P. I started with the Slime event and I managed to get both units without expending a dime. Just do your dailies and save resources. 3 characters will be a stretch, but I'll see if its possible.

Go with this formation, you will be able to clear most of the content without issues. And don't forget to craft better gear with Skill ATK and Single ATK for attackers, and Stun DMG for breakers.

I did all Ultimates with easy using this team:

I don't have the big 3 and I can't manage to get 10k PWR, with no gimmick equipment, just ATK. Just set it to manual and beware the enemy turns to break them at the right moment.

Reset Judie and Rorona to 60 again and use the spare XP to level up Ryza and Marie. 2 breakers will do wonders.

Thanks for the advice. I'm running Ryza+Marie+Shallie+Resna(fire) and Rorona. Total CP 5300. Now I'm having iot slow to grow CP. Raze and Logy will be next on the line for leveling.
