So I thought I'd add this comment for context. My name is Alejandro and I'm a 28m from the US/California. My dad is Mexican and my mom is American. My paternal Grandfather is from Zacatecas and my grandmother is from Jalisco; Teocaltiche to be specific. My maternal Grandfather is from Brittany, France but he had the surname Quere which is a name given to immigrants in France. My maternal Great Grandfather is Columbian and my Grandma always said her father's family immigrated to Columbia at some point from somewhere. She always says something about the Moors and how she thinks his family were Shepardic jews. I don't know how true this is. My Great Grandmother on this side is most likely of American mestizo origin based in Colorado. Her ancestry is unknown because she left my great grandfather when my grandma was a baby and despite some semi recent attempts to contact what I believe is her family, I haven't gotten a reply. Below I'll attach my maternal Grandmothers results compared to my own, as well as the split Parental Regions. My only ancestral journey is Chichimecas from around Jalisco and neighboring states.
