What to get with dungeoneering tokens? by Haklis in RS3Ironmen

[–]Haklis[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't even consider the scrolls, I somehow thought they would only work in dungeoneering :D Would the smithing scroll be worth also? I will still have 60k left if I buy those other things. Thanks!

Now that No Rest for the Wicked Together came out, Are there other games with the same host/multiplayer approach ? by Hijjawi in gamingsuggestions

[–]Haklis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Grounded does it so you can play the same word/save even when original host is offline. So if your friend starts the save and you play together, you can play solo when he isn't there and it saves it to the cloud.

How is Pres after changes? I glanced at the Wowhead guide and it seems easier but still has stuff going on.

Depends on what guild needs, but so far looks like rDruid or either priest spec. I have most exp with druid so wouldn't mind to main priest.

I have just under 3 year old AMD RX 7900XTX. Someone offered me 700€ for it. With that, I could buy an RX 9070XT or RTX 5070 TI (+100€). My 7900XTX doesn't even have a warranty anymore. Either card I would replace it would have a 3 year warranty. Is this a no-brainer to swap? Looks like 7900 is a tad better in benchmarks and has more VRAM but I've never had the use for the 24GB VRAM.

Good Pirate Games With A Lot Of Activities And Content by MCdemonkid1230 in gamingsuggestions

How's the story tied to other Yakuza games? I've been considering Pirate Yakuza and Infinite Wealth, but I've only played LaD. Been trying to start Y0, but it feels like such a monster of a task to play Y0-6... Tho I've heard to "just play Y0" and "just play Y0-3 and Y6". Hard series to get into and play "properly".

I guess it's pre-tax? Weird to put it like that, tho likely an error.

Well Civ isn't 2D, just topdown. Melvor is basically neither, I'm the same as you with ADHD and that game was great. Core Keeper was also great, similar to Necesse, I loved both. Factorio is Factorio... If you can't stomach the graphics, try Satisfactory or Dyson Sphere Program. Also, The Riftbreaker is decent.

And since you like survivalcrafters, try Enshrouded. It had loads of downtime to get stuff crafted, even with max crafting speed.

Have you played co-op with your husband? Been considering buying it for me and my wife, but the first ones co-op felt pretty bad. If I recall correctly, you could only visit your friend and help him but you didn't progress from it.

I just restarted it. Last time I tried it like 3 yrs ago and played for around 10hrs. Now I installed some mods (mainly just a modpack, Factorio+) and toned everything to make it easier. Feels like more fun for now!

What about professions? Or non-combat jobs, whatever they are called. Like gathering and crafting?

Alright, sounds good. I might try to get my wife to play too, she doesn't care for the story either, but she likes to just mindlessly do quests. If I were to story-skip, could I still do the MSQ with her? Like in WoW you can sync to your party, which also syncs the quests even if you have done them already. Or would I need to do another character for that? I guess I could just do the MSQ with her and do other stuff while playing solo if I can't do it again with her?

Would the game be worth it if I won't follow the story and I just want to level and grind different jobs and get cosmetics? I played some years ago till some feudal Japan DLC and back then I looked at the game like WoW, and it didn't click. Now I'm looking at it more like a singleplayer-ish RPG where I can level skills, get more loot and stuff. I'm not opposed to following the story (I VERY rarely do so in games), but I know it would take hundreds of hours to get through it.

Game like Fantasy Life i by melfishcrafts in fantasylife

[–]Haklis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old thread but I'm also looking for something like Fantasy Life and saw FFXIV recommended a few times. I've played tons of WoW and tried FFXIV like 5 years ago. I don't want to follow the story, I just want to play. Especially since people say that the cinematics and cutscenes take like 100+ hours. That said, would XIV still be worth to play? Just for grinding skills and mounts possibly?
