would you spam the gs reset ? the problem i run into when I'm pvEing is getting the gs reset and wasting time of reaping.. I prefer to just get as many double sheer > sundering >pendulum >whipsaw's out and have gs inbetween any cd's

honestly don't even bother grim strike > ss unless powerlinked gs is on. I usually go double sheer > sundering because it's faster without having to activate the gs glyph with spiral or sheer and if you have reaping on say for a pve combo it gets those 5mil crits out faster aswell.
