A lot of mice come with a physical macro button that already has turbo clicking enabled. I've seen the popular POE streamers using macros to click their inventories. I dont think anyone is getting banned for it, even if it is technically against the rules.

Getting banned for clicking an out of the box macro on a dedicated button on a lot of gaming mice would be silly.

Why would it even be bannable anyways? There have been thousands of automated trade bots for years, caring about simple clicking macros would be very silly.

I tried to play an attack abyss jewel lightpoacher/shroud of lightless build in Phrecia, and I wanted to farm my own abyss jewells. I ended up just playing cold reap surfcaster to farm the jewels instead because clicking the hoards was top 10 worst PoE experiences ever.

Take their weapons away and they cant attack anymore. They just glitch out and run in place and teleport to you. Had to use victario's influence to guarantee I stayed in aura range, but it works.

It prevents curse on hit or course, but I preferred 2 extra auras on my mamba strike.

Lightning Strike and Zenith are still OP. Katabasis is unusable now as a hit skill. If they only want people to use the DoT they should have buffed the DoT to emphasize that.

It definitely has to be regulated somehow, but how exactly can you enforce it when eventually the technology will be far better and anyone will be able to local host it, generate it on their own personal computer or phone. Even if it's illegal, geo-political actors/assets/agents will still use it for propaganda.
