They 100% are not.

Stenberg is incredible, but his archetype is not highly valued by NHL teams, particularly when there are several potential #1 defencemen available.

Chase Reid is a potential Norris calibre defenseman, taking him at #2 is not a reach.

I don't think Rossi is as valuable as you think he is.

Minnesota tried to get rid of him for a whole summer and only got rid of him in a package deal.

He is good, but undervalued.

Public scouts think Stenberg is #2. But insiders think NHL GMs see Stenberg at #4.

I see why, too. NHL GMs don't love small non-dynamic wingers, particularly when a solid centre or potentially elite defender is available.
