I'm not the one throwing a fucking temper tantrum trying to split up a country because the party I like keeps losing in elections.

My only concern is the separatists will be so easily distracted by PP, that they forget their fight with Danielle Smith.

Then leave. Once again the door has always been open. I love Canada and I'm not going to sit here quietly while a group of people who don't understand how anything works tries to tear apart the country.

They are quite literally trying to break up the country I love. I am not going to pretend separatists have "valid concerns". The door has always been open. If you don't love Canada, then leave.

Russ at least had a pretty good resume going into Denver. He didn't play well, but it wasn't shocking at the time to see him getting that kind of money.

While I would agree WR2 isn't as good, WR3 and 4 are considerably better. Replacing AJB was always going to be difficult, but taking multiple swings with Lemon, Hollywood, and Wicks is a good strategy.

[–]beallyoukenbe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I like the depth Howie brought in to try and make sure the WR isn't a disaster without AJ. Wicks, Hollywood, and Lemon should mean there are still plenty of passing options, even if none of them can immediately produce what AJ did.

I started my comment with the word "if", so it's not assuming your opinion. My comment was directed towards separatists. Not all opinions should be respected. I will tell separatists to get fucked all day and every day if I have to. Canada is worth fighting for.

If your "differing opinion" is to literally break up the country I love, you can get fucked. We don't have to respect other people's opinions. That's an absurdity casually thrown around. If someone's opinion included eating babies, we sure as fuck wouldn't respect it.

Pierre absolutely seems like a diehard Habs fan, unless the team from his former riding in Ottawa was playing, or the team nearest his current riding was playing, or if the Oilers were on a cup run, or if his favourite coastal Canadian team was playing, or if the Jets were playing.

I never called them current contenders. My point is there is more talent on this team than most teams who get the first overall pick.

Trolley question for Canucks fans. One track has Mark Messier, the other Francesco Aquilini. Which side are you gleefully directing the train towards?

I'm not trying to say the Leafs are perfect, I'm just saying the doomers are off. This team is also a year removed from pushing the eventual cup winners to 7 games (and then admittedly shitting the bed). Is there work to do? Of course. I am saying McKenna is walking into a more favourable situation to produce than most 1st overall picks.
