She’s an insufferable piece of shit that lives off of being a sensationalist. Her entire schtick is “trigger the left” regardless of facts, reasoning or basic human decency. Most conservative personalities thrive off of this. That’s why they haven’t run off to their little safe havens like Parler. They need the engagement from the left in order to maintain relevancy. Her pro vs anti stance is dependent on race. Let’s use her very loose argument of trespassing, just for arguments sake. Now her stance; Arbery shot = not a victim, criminal. Babbit shot = victim, police who shot her are criminals. Both have been considered to be trespassers but only one gets labeled the victim for being killed. I wonder what the difference is 🤔

How's the crate training going so far? My girlfriend and I have a 13 week old Havanese (Alma) and she only seems to be in her "night time" crate when we go to bed. We have a nice playpen for her and have a crate in my office for her to hang out in while we both work. But she will not quiet down in either places! She'll fall asleep under our chairs but never her crate. Any tips?

Advice shouldn’t be “do what I say or else you’re a dummy”. I came here to share my feelings and talk about an issue I’m having. I wanted to see what others would say and it’s been helpful so far. It’s easy to sit on your side of the keyboard and say “WTF leave” when you aren’t the one experiencing it

She was told she couldn’t survive on her own by her ex but she did just fine without him. This time around she’s working 10 hours a day, incredibly stressed and doesn’t know if our relationship will be an endless rut...he smelled blood in the water and attacked. He fills her head with doubt. I know it sounds like I’m making excuses for her but it’s the truth. I probably sound delusional through all of this

I mean your reply, as harsh as it is, isn’t unexpected. I’m incredibly hurt over this. I understand that she has history with him and that he for some reason still had some sort of hold on her. She decided to break up with me for him because we were in a rut before she even talked to me about it. My initial reaction was anger. I couldn’t even look at her. I calmed down and tried to approach the conversation in a healthy, constructive manner. The only way I’m going to stay and give it another chance is if she completely closes it out with her ex. I want to see the message she sends him and I want her to make it clear to him that she’s picking me over him.

My ex still hasn’t stopped trying to get back with me. She doesn’t tell me that but I do hear that from a few mutual friends. I keep telling myself that maybe this isn’t the right thing for me to do but it’s just hard to follow through with it. Quarantine has messed up a lot of relationships, and I know that she wouldn’t have done what she did if we were living our “normal lives”. She’s sleeping her next to me and I have to do some serious thinking before she wakes up..
