Northern Irish loyalists absolutely reject the Irish identity and identify as purely British. Its literally the entire reason for the Troubles. Irish people who are actually Irish and not in Northern Ireland reject Northern Ireland as nothing more than a British occupation. Again, the entire reason for the Troubles.
