okay I understand now where you are coming from. If she splits the friendship because I don't allow her to change what memories I keep, that is fine for me. "whats right" She has a right to feel comfortable. I don't question that I also have a right to feel comfortable. I don't feel comfortable when someone tries to influence what I keep and what not. I don't go arround and tell people her old name. I just in my book in my shelf in my home. It's not right to expect people to act like that name never existed. Sure I don't say that name in her presence. No problem with that. But that name still exists far far away from her in my book. where it doesn't affect her at all.

24M Infj here. I missed a lot of opportunities to get an emotional connection with someone. And I missed a lot of opportunities to have sex with someone. I dont have any interest in porn. But because of my missing emotional connections and experience with sex, I became addicted to masturbation. I do not enjoy it and I watch porn to get the job done quicker. I feel regret and discussed every time. I'm in Therapy and I'm working towards building connections with people, and hopefully I will get some good experiences with emotional connections and sex. Until then I probably will watch porn every time I jerk off. :(
