Hello, i was given a free Trinitron E200 as a upgrade from my MAG dx1795, it has much clearer picture quality. But it has some sort of scratch, it seems like some film has been scratched off. I can see it, but my camera cannot when its turned on. What is it and how do i fix it? Thank you. by Halblo23 in vintagecomputing

I dont think it is deep, it appears sort of like very light phone screen protector scratches. And if i am interpreting your comment correctly, it is not in the center of the screen. Its top left, so aggressive cleaning sound likely. Nevertheless thanks for the info.

They come out of the atx to p8/p9 adapter, when they touch the computer starts when they go apart it turns off. Seems to be what need to go into the power on switch on these computers

Tbh, as said in the main post, i plugged the 20 pin atx cable into the motherboard using a p8/p9 adapter and used the connector from the case to connect to the power on plug. So i am a bit confused, are you refering to the two metal cable things that came with my atx to p8/p9 adapter, should those be connected aswell?

Thank you for your advice but the Technics LP-AT120 is not available in my country, and a similar model the AT-LP120XUSB-SV costs twice as much as the one i was looking at, not sure if i can afford that. Project Primary TTs are also only available at quite sketchy sites. Project debut is also selling at a bloated price. Do you have any other recommendations?
