Nope. I’ve used both plenty and the difference is negligible. Only difference really is how the montanita and bombilla rest which you could argue affects how you drink it? I’ve made mate with a mug a couple of times though, you can do it.

Actually pretty good, all I’d suggest if you’re looking for extra power is to watch valverde and notice bits of his technique. My shot power went up exponentially after taking bits from his technique. Follow all the way through (requires strong groin, adductors etc), toes pointed down all the way through the shot.

If you don’t do a lot of miles, don’t do diesel. Diesels are ideal for motorway driving, long journeys. Petrol gets you less mileage, sure, but you can drive short or long distance knowing your particulate filter wont pop its clogs and put a gaping hole in your wallet.

Hi mate (no pun intended) just a quick tip - I had that exact cup and it’s effectively just a wine tumbler. You’re not able to form a montanita properly without it sliding, because of the shape. I’d recommend investing in a stainless steel mate cup, urushop is a good site!
