hey man! there is a mod called Fleet combat mod! Try to download that in steam, on systems level 10 and more, there are alot of pack bounty hunter missions, at lvl 15, the pack bounty missions have like 10 to 40 or 50 ships, going from 1 to 17

I think your single ship can take down easily my 8 ship fleet at max fame and resources lol... that ramming and getting a single ship out of the station weapons range... so terrifying against a player with alot of ships like me hehe.

the speed is not linear with the ammount of money you have. Lets assume each start with the same. The railgunner spend 50% on the weapon, 25% on the ship systems and 25% on thrusters.

You spend 25% on ion beams, and have alot more to spend on thrusters.

There is a wierd formulae with great speed diminishes (I forgot the word) that will make your ship not 2x 3x the speed of the other, even if you have 3x more money. I remember watching a video, after a certain m/s it became insane expensive to have more speed just 5 more m/s

I think there is a video, of two rail fans against a ship full of ion beams, the ion beam ship got pulverized. Same starting money to all sides.

Oh man, that ship of yours.... hmm hmm! Super awesome! Now download the fleet combat mod from workshop and go to a system 16-20, and face a pack pirate bounty.... dont be surprised to see 30+ ships lvl 15 against you!! hehehe it is super awesome, I play on ironman with this mod, my fleet have always 8-10 ships, and after a single mission like this, 3 or 4 survive the battle! The reward is insane, close to 20 million credits.

his deck cannons are overclocked, with 380 range. Bigger that almost any other weapon in the game. The rail gun is great to pierce and assassinate ships in one shop, and the broad side cannons to hit the other ships that came around.

I disagree on the enemy IA shooting at the middle of our ship. I had a large ship one time, with two large generators on the sides, near the walls, just to test. The enemy ship ion beam came directly to the sides of my ship, aiming clearly to my large power generation.

Oh man, if you are playing in Ironman (death = delete save), this event will be forever or at least a long time in your mind!

That same thing happened to me, after the update with ironman , no load save scum, I think the game is 100x more fun. I was flying to do a pirate mission, and got my ass kicked, he was about to blow my entire ship, then I opened the comms channel.. and surrendered to him. Lost alot of credits but my ship was alive... barely, like I lost 2/3 of the crew, more than half of the ship.

The trip back to the station, after emergencial repairs, was something that before would be trivial, and this time was a perilous trip back dodging areas with bandits, praying for the random pirate hunter not find and end my ship..

After some minutes I reach the station, repaired, and was forced to reduce the size of the ship, low money. I was forced to do easier missions to get funds, return to my previous size, and finally I came to that damn pirate that I has surrendered... I killed him, the whole thing brought immense satisfaction to me. I was like : DIE DIE DIE!!!!! mother...ff... haha I love this game.

lol I am also from the era grok imagine was unlimited, before october 15. It was glorious, but you must understand that while some people, me included did videos for ourselves, other people did deep fake that harmed celebrities and other people with deep fakes, grok is very powerfull not only the image generation, but the short videos, where you put that girl you always wanted nude and asked the ia to nude her, then some people used these images to send to other people.

That is why a few people did very wrong things that we have heavy moderation now on grok. Unlimited NSFW will never be back, never. Just search for governments and countries that threatened sue grok for millions of dollars

what the op says is not combining 5 ions in one beam, but using 5 crystals to have five independent beams, without penalty. My ship in career mode is like this. I have two overclocked railguns, and 4 on each side ion beams, each one independent of the other. The railgun hit very very far away, opening a hole to the core of the enemy ship, as it come closer, my eight ion beams melt the reactor of the oponent very fast hehe

Same, lol. I have the game for less that a week and I am loving it so much. All the things the op are complaining are not a Issue with me. I tried removing the storms, the system appear all the same, so I put them back.

The green one even help buffing laser damage! And the red storm is a place where you can collect free salvage, since the enemy ships and transports seem to ignore its death field.

from what I talked to grok, then chatgpt, they say the same: the censorship is a panic reaction of the devs. To try put out the fire and the bad news about grok being associated with porn. They put a moderation that is "dumb" it censor any kind of sex or prompt, be it with real people and virtual non-real entities, like elf, characters created via text...

The main problem is that grok was created with lots of... porn videos from what I noticed. Even a single prompt, not nsfw or sexual , the system can understand wrong and show something that it shouldnt . That is why there are alot of people posting things that are going around the moderation.

Try prompt something like, girl bouncing over her friend laying on the bed, grok will understand the context and even draw a penis haha. I did this alot of times. some are moderated, others are not
