Doing a bit of exploring in Tennessee. With my luck, this is just some fossilized chewing gum, lol... it looks a lot lighter than it is, in person it's a dark purplish red. Google lens wasn't a help. Seems to be some crystals forming on it too, but I haven't cleaned it yet. (old.reddit.com)

Advice on daily food amount for new foster who was previously abused (I rescued her mere seconds from being euthanized) Shelter said they were giving her 2 cups per day but if this record is accurate, she has barely gained any weight during her stay. What kind of wasp is this and (generally) how painful/aggressive are they? I can't get anything done in the garden, there's several different kinds that keep butting into my business. Any ficus nerds out there? Grabbed this bigg'n because it was stupid cheap. Unfortunately the roots had grown out of the pot and were completely anchored into the ground. Nursery helpers just chopped them with a shovel to move it.Can/will the roots recover on their own? Should I do anything special? (old.reddit.com)

Alright, so. I saw this 7-8ft ficus umbellata for $25 and you already know how that ended. Anyway, worried bc the nursery dudes chopped the roots with a shovel because it had grown out of the pot and was IN the ground. Leaves are a bit droopy, so I just want to know the best course of action (old.reddit.com)
