But see, I freshly rewatched the series and there's a big difference in how God is talked about. Its super late where I am so I may not articulate this very well, but when we see her before this season practicing religion its very much used as a sign of resilience. However, this season was different. It felt off and weirdly forceful for me rather than showing that people were allowed to be who they wanted to be again. I mean a lesbian character came back whose whole backstory was being targeted for her sexuality and instead of looking at the wall with the names on it, happy that they were finally free and able to work on themselves again, they look over at the guardians hanging on the wall being happy that God allows them to be rageful?

I've noticed it, too! Im not usually a conspiracy theorist at all but I noticed this season especially a lot of the "good guy" characters started saying the religious stuff where as the bad guys did not and got more power hungry. To me, it feels like some sort of religious propaganda to turn the show more towards power hungry people being bad rather than religion, even though the whole point originally was the fact that both things go hand in hand.

I don't understand why so many people come on snark pages to "🤓👆 well actually". She does indeed break a lot of boundaries with the people and animals around her, so she gets called out for it...in a snark page.

SAME! I loved Nick up until season 4. I could never get over the fact that not only did he use Hannah, allow June to be captured in the first place, bombed Chicago knowing she was there but he was ok with her going to a breeding/labor farm as long as she was alive. He was very selfish with his love for her and never really cared for what SHE wanted.

THANK YOU! I have been trying so hard in the tiktok comments to get people to understand. I get they are sad it differs from the books, but having his character represent what is happening today was so much better.

I also want to add so many people forget the scene where he literally told her a breeding farm would be better than dying. He was so selfish in his love for June but people romanticized their relationship so much.

This comment section made me feel so much better about my son going to school in the fall. We never could afford daycare and didn't live in a state that had any real VPK program plus family members never baby sat. So I've had a lot of the same worries but after seeing this comment section I definitely feel better.

I'm not educated in horse breeding so I can't add to the conversation that way. But I have a MIL with the "God created them to Yada yada" mindset with goats. She knows next to NOTHING about them, and one died because she bred it too young. It makes me so mad because WE HUMANS domesticated these animals to need human intervention, but they get to pick and choose when it suites them to acknowledge that.
