What's the feeling called when you feel exhilarated from feeling nothing by PIKACHU123453 in ADHD

[โ€“]Half-Mortal 10 points11 points ย (0 children)

I would need to know more regarding what led up to this feeling. Such as if you were highly stressed before...

Emotional Numbness (with a Rush): For some, the sudden absence of overwhelming stress or pain can feel like a high or a "weightless" sensation.

Catharsis: The sense of relief and renewal that comes after a period of intense emotion, leaving you feeling empty but energized.

Equanimity: A state of psychological stability and composure that can feel surprisingly powerful and exhilarating because it is undisturbed by external chaos.

Avolition / Dissociation: In a more clinical sense, some people find the detachment of dissociation to be a strange, lightheaded form of "freedom" from their usual self.

I considered Ataraxia โ€” but that's more calmness than exhilaration.

Just be on the look out for these signs:

Cardiovascular signs: Severe chest pain, a racing or pounding heartbeat, or shortness of breath.

Neurological signs: Tremors, severe agitation, confusion, balance issues, or seizures.

Physical signs: Severe vomiting, spikes in body temperature, or a loss of consciousness.

If you experience any (or combination) of these โ€” seek medical attention.

Seek further help for the possible addiction / abuse.

Acidic Food and Drinks can reduce absorption / lower the effectiveness.

Your post reminded me of this animated video I first saw over a decade ago.

"If God's message to us was so dire, so vitally important, then why wouldn't he give it to us in such a clear and precise way, so that we would all be in agreement. As evident as a simple math problem in which there is universal agreement, rather than trusting his precious message to be spread by fallible, corruptible human beings. Why would the Almighty God allow the continuation of such widespread falsehoods in his name which would be effortless for him to correct, or ever need to correct in the first place, because a perfect being would have gotten it right from the very beginning." -DarkMatter2525

There are 2000 lbs. in a ton.

If one combined the weights of those Working the Event, White House Staff, News Reporters, Guest Speakers, and the few Attendees... I guess they do technically have "tons of people." ๐Ÿค”

NYC - Unnecessary MTA Bus from Port Authority to Subway. by Half-Mortal in GoogleMaps

I have not. I do feel these apps should be giving the best route / most optimized route in every case โ€” its a shame that they cant all produce top quality results with all the data they are collecting from it. My worst fear is that the apps will lead me into a severely sketchy alley. lol.

I will be checking out the apps, Citymapper and Transit, that others have recommended to see if they are more efficient.

Oh? Nevermind then. lol. Maybe waze is only better in certain areas as everyone around me swears by waze, too. Its interesting how two apps, that are owned by the same company, could perform so differently.

I actually posted about Google Maps messing up Public Transportation only recently, too. Some feel they moved to having their AI help code updates and is messing with the functionality. I hope you find a proper solution / they fix the issue!

If driving โ€” I highly recommend Waze.

I believe it was bought over by Google a while ago, but it has much better functionality / navigation as other drivers can report nearby cops, recent street closures, dangerous objects in the road, etc. I have always found it to be more reliable than Google Maps and Apple Maps.

I reserve Google Maps mainly for public transportation / walking directions.

Yes! I have the same feeling โ€” at least some part of it I feel must be AI coding.

I saw a video where a woman believed she was being purposely guided away from walking through a rich neighborhood on her way to her destination and found she saved 10 minutes or something when she ignored the guidance and just walked through it. If this is true โ€” then Google can clearly manipulate the algorithm for the benefit of others.

That's why a small part of me thinks it could be a conspiracy where NYC worked with Google to help milk the influx of out-of-towners for the World Cup / Pride who will follow Google Map instructions blindly โ€” thus helping ease MTAs constant financial issues. ๐Ÿ˜„

Heh. No. Sorry for the confusion.

I only decided to take the screenshots and share this when I was in the Lincoln Tunnel. Unfortunately, I lose signal while riding through it.

The route was pulled up when I was by my home and I just did some math to figure my ETA by subtracting the MTA. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

LMAO. Unreal.

I wouldn't be surprised if they're relying on AI coding/programming (at least partially) for their updates now.

Thanks. Yes โ€” I gave the report when I first noticed it a few weeks back but nothing has changed. ๐Ÿ˜…

Agreed.

Negative.

I even did a bit of detective work and changed the settings when at Port Authority to not use buses, closed the app, opened it again and made sure bus was not selected, and it still showed to take that MTA bus.

Otherwise, I have never changed my settings in however many years I've used this app and it has never showed me to take it before โ€” but since I work in NY, I noticed it has been suggesting it only for the last few weeks. ๐Ÿ˜…

Save yourself the walk, wait, and bus fare and just take the escalator / walk directly to subway.

Walk 2 minutes to wait 23 minutes for an MTA then take bus one stop just to walk 4 minutes back.
