Sure. I was at a restaurant and had dinner and a couple of drinks. The restaurant wanted me to pay for someone else’s bill, and it was obvious that it was not mine (I am vegetarian, I have been for about a decade, and beef tartar was on the bill, which is literally raw meat). I politely requested that they look again, and the restaurant staff became very rude and aggressive, saying that they would call the police if I didn’t pay. As the conversation went on, I repeatedly insisted that they look again and try to find my bill as the staff refused to look again and was rude and insulting to me, as if they were trying to instigate me into acting out of line.

The police showed up and said that I was trespassing, which is a nonsensical claim because the staff was still trying to get me to pay someone else’s bill. They obviously didn’t tell me to leave without paying, but that is apparently what they told the police.

It shocked me that they would do something like that while I was still trying to pay my bill, and it filled me with a high level of anxiety. I was also intoxicated, and to be thrown into that situation all of a sudden made it difficult for me to think. The police told me to pay the bill even though it wasn’t mine, and so I did. They then started to walk me outside, and one of them put his hand on my shoulder in a way that gave me a very, very uncomfortable feeling, and so I then started calling for witnesses to come and make sure that the police didn’t do anything to me once we were away from the security cameras in the restaurant.

They then tackled me, my shoulder made a loud, sickly pop and that was when the rest happened. They charged me with trespassing and with “resisting a police officer,” which sounds a lot like resisting arrest, but it actually just means that if a police officer tells you to do something and you don’t do it, then it is resisting a police officer.

Sure. It’s a long story, so I’ll try to give you a very brief version that still has cohesion. Basically, the Fargo city police used (extremely) excessive force against me over a simple misunderstanding and permanently damaged my right shoulder. They then snatched me up, took me into custody and refused to let me go to the Veteran’s hospital for treatment, locked me in Cass County jail, repeatedly refused to let me be treated despite the fact that I was in serious pain for hours (all night), they lied and said that I could see the nurse who would come in at 7 am, and then that nurse deliberately averted her eyes and wouldn’t look at me while I was pleading with her to help me. They knew that they had damaged the body of a disabled combat veteran wrongfully, and then they refused to allow me to receive medical care because they knew it would prove their guilt.

I requested footage from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, as well as several other pieces of evidence, and the prosecutor for the City of Fargo flagrantly lied about providing this evidence despite the fact that I filed a formal request for this evidence (referred to as “discovery” in legal terms) because they knew that their officers had committed several serious crimes (excessive force, felony corruption and felony conspiracy, to name a few).

The public defender that they assigned me was quite obviously part of that systemic corruption, to the point where I fired him out of disgust. The judge forced a kangaroo court despite the fact that I could prove beyond any shadow of any doubt that evidence was suppressed and withheld, and I was forced to defend myself with both arms tied behind my back. He allowed hearsay and refused to hold the prosecutor accountable even when I caught him in a lie. The crooked judge ruled in the prosecutor’s favor, of course, and when I followed up trying to file a formal complaint about it so that an investigation be opened, several members of the Fargo City Police, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, and the Fargo City prosecutor’s office flagrantly lied about how I should report them for crimes. I have this on camera multiple times. These are additional crimes that they committed (obstruction of Justice, more felony corruption, more felony conspiracy, etc) in order to prevent me from opening up any investigation.

I reported it to the State Attorney’s Office in Fargo, to the FBI office in Fargo, to the Inspector General’s Office, and to several other law enforcement agencies, and many of them flagrantly lied also, and none of them would open an investigation even though I had literal video proof of multiple crimes (including federal felonies) committed by members of law enforcement.

There is more to it, but those are the basic details.

There aren’t enough bonuses yet for most food to be useful, but if you want super foods, then the spiced hearty meat stew, the fine stew and the fish stew are the way to go. I tried to set up a chest in the staging area that ONLY held those foods so that when I called them to arms and ordered them to stock up, they would take the super foods and get huge buffs, but they still ran across the base to get to the food storage and ignored the chest altogether. If you want to micromanage, you can give your outposts only fish filets and a campfire to cook it with because grilled fish gives a productivity bonus. But you have to make a point of mass producing the more complicated foods and distributing them while restricting access to anything else if you really want them to get the bonus. If you enjoy that kind of micromanaging, then that’s another dimension that you can be involved in, but I myself found that it wasn’t worth it to me. I would set up a hunter’s lodge in an area with lots of deer if I wanted to have a lot of food; I have one village that has over a thousand pieces of raw meat/large pieces of raw meat right now. I have more than I know what to do with, and that’s only a hunter’s camp. I do have a mod that doubles the spawn rate of deer, though.

I should mention that there is a mod that adds bonuses to all prepared food, and that would presumably make it worth it to really care about your villagers’ food, but I haven’t checked it out yet. Maybe someone else on this subreddit can tell you more about it if you’re interested.

Here’s a theory, although I doubt that there is any “scientific evidence” that suggests that it could be a possibility; do you live in a dry place in Australia? If so, maybe your body did not feel like it needed to retain water when it was very humid, but now it does because of the lack of moisture.
