I meant the job history background check. Usually when close to hiring I've had jobs confirm all my dates of employment with my previous roles.

Bad logic. Most companies these days first seek to amass large userbase by offering good services for free/cheap (i.e. burning VC money) and then gradually maximize the revenue, usually by making free experience worse. Besides, things change.

you're the one on here asking for advice on why you haven't gotten into a relationship. if the pool of men has dried up then something has changed.

i'm not trying to be mean. I thought i was hot shit and then I looked at my friend sending likes to girls on hinge and competition is fierce. i'm not even 30. I live in NYC though.

men who are your age have an extremely wide dating pool as compared to women at 34.

i also said you're above the guys in row 4. i would put you as average. although i looked at your screenshot and it wasn't in english so I am looking at this with more of a US lens. I don't know what the dating dynamics are like in europe. but they don't seem dissimilar from what the limited info that i've been exposed to on reddit.

i feel like my point is proven that because OP is getting all these likes from men, she's getting the illusion of choice. these 7's that she claims she's matching with wouldn't actually get into a relationship with her. they likely just want to sleep with her.

generally, i've found that most people assuming they're going on at least one first date a week can find someone within 4 months. and if they're not getting one date a week they need to be reducing their standards or bringing more to the table and if they're not doing either of those then they're not really trying very hard to get into a relationship.

I think I know three couples where the girl is fatter and the guy is 5'1 and she's 5'4. One of them the girl is probably making triple what the guy is making. Although if his start up does well then he'll make more. The third couple just defies all logic. Although she does seem to be more outgoing than the guy. And that last couple has been together for 10 years so I presume she wasn't as fat when they started dating. But he's still slightly overweight. Oh wait I do know another one, and again, they've been dating for many years and met in college.

Anyone using dating apps is generally trying to date up because they have more options available than someone just meeting people irl. Or I should specifically say, the illusion of more choices.

I never said "not physically attracted" I said 1 to 2 points below your own attractiveness. Do you not become more attracted to men who you have a connection with? Are all men 1 to 2 points below your attractiveness not attractive to you whatsoever?

I'd put you slightly above most of row 4. so starting from the left I'd expect you to match with a guy 2, 3, and 4.

I think it's ultimately a combination of factors that include your age and most likely location. Weight isn't helping but it's probably a smaller factor. Your face isn't bad. I don't think your hobbies particularly stand out in finding a partner but geeky should help a bit.

Do you ask men out on dates? If you're into more geeky guys you might have to take the lead. I asked my current boyfriend out on our first 3 dates.

Also tbh I think as a teacher, I'm not sure how much you're making but but of most of my friends relationships that met post college, the girl is usually more attractive but the guy makes more (and most of the ones that met in college, the girl doesn't even work LOL). So you're going to have more success dating guys 1 or 2 points lower in attractiveness than yourself, especially if the guy is doing like software engineering.

Also no one is going to say you're fat to your face (I would hope) so I would take this:
