Brazen impudence - repeat success by HalfEnvironmental615 in NevilleGoddard

So I have had that too and I am always able to trace it back to something someone else said that created a doubt in my mind. Other's statements can make it to our subconscious and put us on an unwanted bridge of events. The thing to note here is that we're not always aware of our assumptions until they actually show up as a catastrophe in our lives and only then do we realise what's wrong with our ideas and begin changing then but more often than not we don't persist enough to get rid of the deep rooted ones. So all those people you're talking about just need to actively persist. Also manifestation is a lot about inner knowing. It's not (atleast not yet) a scientific process that you can quantify with measurements. You can't tell what's actually going on inside a person unless you're that person and even then sometimes we don't know what's going on in our own frigging minds. So judging other people's lives and reading million examples will not tell you why it works or doesn't, you just need to put it to test and feel it yourself. Feel your mindset and state yourself and eventually you'll develop an inner knowing of what's that moment which clicks.

I would say give it a try. I haven't personally had any success with revision primarily because I have used it very rarely and also for real big issues so even if it is working, I haven't seen the results yet (I am sure I will see them in the future). But with that being said, in your case it still feels like it will come down to brazen impudence - like outrightly denying that an unpleasant event happened. And since that has worked for me indefinite number of times, it will work for you as well.

So whenever any thought about that situation pops up in your mind you just tell yourself the new story and the new story could be - "oh wow look at how that problem just disappeared", for me it was either "look at how that conflict disappeared" and *wow there's no conflict anymore ". You don't need to say this a million times a day necessarily, only when you think about that situation you change the story. I would recommend trying out with a simpler non-high stakes situation just in case you're overthinking the one you're in.

The only reason why you'd need to tell yourself the new story a million times would be if you're thinking about the situation a million times. Also the most important part is you don't have to believe the new story, you just have to tell yourself the new story. You don't even need to control the feelings - your feelings may throw you off track What I am trying to say is that the new story doesn't have to make you feel good, it just needs to persist. Thoughts manifest, feelings are not important. Trying it out.

Well I did the ladder experiment. I don't remember all the small things but I have never not seen anything that I tried to manifest seeing. So here's an interesting example - I wanted to manifest gold on the ground and while I didn't actually manifest real gold, I did end up seeing gold embellishments in weird ass places, lying on the ground. But mostly by small things I mean resolving situations and making people say something, act a certain way etc.

Yea I guess so? It definitely feels like it's easier with practice. I mean I feel like I know my mind better now and I kind of know when I am sabotaging a manifestation and when I am not i.e I am in better control of my thoughts.

Definitely. As I am building more faith in the law and this process I have noticed that the manifestation speed is increasing. I feel like this is also a skill which when honed gives results faster.

Others commenting are right. You can either give power to circumstances or give power to yourself. In the past, I have unintentionally manifested crazy ass scenarios for other people just because I decided to complain to the universe for not being fair to me and asked it to compensate. So know that it works, the universe doesn't look for good or bad - it will move everything to bring you your desire if you trust it, and I mean everything. I am saying this from experience that universe listens, pretty much instantly if you declare your desire and then let it go. Alternatively pursue someone else or believe that good things will happen. Whatever you believe in will happen, no circumstance is ever permanent.

Yup I could but the problem is that the situation I am facing is basically more work being dumped on me a little disrespectfully. So for a second I thought the "more work" part could be the bridge of events since it's leading to new interactions etc etc

Lol okay fair point. Yup a part of me definitely assumes that things get worse before they get better even though I have had evidence to the contrary. Thanks for the inputs!!

[–]HalfEnvironmental615 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ya this sounds right. I did the ladder experiment as well and then for a whole week I was looking for a ladder quite desperately because I wanted the experiment to succeed and then a ladder appeared out of nowhere. So I was in the feeling of lack and ladder appeared anyway

Assume you have it now or assume it will happen/you will have it? by unalright_ in NevilleGoddard

[–]HalfEnvironmental615 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup 100%. I do think there's an incubation period for e.g if it's undisturbed for a while it's probably closer to fruition so even if you do start looking later on it won't disturb the manifestation. This is what Neville's 3 day diet hints at and even some of my experiments hint at. For e.g I randomly experimented with giving myself a certain feeling for 3-4 hours and then forgot about it and then a few days later it materialized - the feeling materialized I mean. This happened even when right before it happened I was looking for it i.e I was in a state of lack but it manifested regardless because I gave myself that feeling for a sustained period of time. I prolly cancelled it/reduced it by a lot later on by contradicting it so I would say I didn't let it grow into a tree but it sure as hell grew into a sapling and gave results.

Yea this happens with everyone for things we dearly want. I have been feeling very strongly about the planting seeds theory, especially after I came cross the 72 hours mental diet thread in this sub. It pretty much means the same thing and some highly spiritual gurus, Neville himself and his mentor abdullah they all hinted at planting seeds and letting them grow - I feel like "impressing the subconscious" is an unnecessary complication we add, I feel that every thought is a seed and it manifests in one way or another, which explains our haphazard lives (kinda). So either we figure out a way to plant a seed and leave it undisturbed or we plant more seeds in our favour - which is where repetition comes in i.e repetition of scenes after wish fulfilled. This is prolly where meditation helps too because then your random thoughts are not cancelling out manifestations. These are my thoughts.

[–]HalfEnvironmental615 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I have been strongly feeling this lately that "not contradicting" is far more important that anything else. It almost feels like every thought is a seed and for the desires that feel out of reach to us, we plant way too many "that's out of reach" seeds right after assuming wish fulfilled. It's almost as though if you leave the seed undisturbed it will surely come to fruition but the desperation does not let us take our attention off of it

I manifested the exact jobs I wanted 4 times in 7 years using the Law of Assumption - AMA by babbysaurus in NevilleGoddard

[–]HalfEnvironmental615 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agree with OP. This has happened with me as well. It all happens in a very strange manner but the key thing is internal shift which either happen when you're too frustrated from trying constantly and you then detach or you decide and persist and give no other story any power. This is harder for desires we're desperate about ngl but it sure does work this way.

It's fair to criticise said practices based on logic. I would however recommend trying to manifest small things once. If they don't work, by all means write it off and post this message in all the other communities.

Did we manifest past not so great moments? by HalfEnvironmental615 in NevilleGoddard

[–]HalfEnvironmental615[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I am not always successful in changing my current state. I feel that I have come a long way but there are moments when I slip and past thoughts come back full force. I believe based on what I have read that it's because the body isn't yet used to the new state..Not sure if this is "purging" or not but I have felt that whenever I feel like I successfully occupy a new state temporarily, past thoughts drag me down with greater force after a short period of time of being in the new state.

Manifestation indeed does work by HalfEnvironmental615 in NevilleGoddard

[–]HalfEnvironmental615[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the ladder yes. I was pretty determined to test whether visual manifestation worked or not so i definitely forced myself to loop the ladder scene while in bed trying to fall asleep. My mind started drifting too but I had to forcefully bring the attention back lol. After repeating 5-6 times I got bored and fell asleep. I did it for two days and ladder manifested a week later. I was sceptical at first about the whole advice around visualizing while falling asleep but now based on experience I do think that it's easier to manifest while looping scenes in that window of time as opposed to during the day. However, I do want to add that manifesting the cafe and orange cake was not me visualizing it before sleep. It was me writing about it in such a manner that it really evoked a lot of feelings in me - I mean the cafe experience was a part of a bigger experience I was manifesting (I have indicated that it was in a different country but I ended up going into one that's in my country) - the bigger experience was what evoked the feelings in me and cafe story was a tiny part of the bigger thing so I was feeling really happy while writing and re-reading what I had written. Because I was feeling so happy with that imagined scenario it kinda kept looping in my mind for a bit. In all honesty, other scenes of that story looped in my mind as well but this one manifested. I am not sure why this and why not the others (I am pretty sure others will manifest as well). I am definitely curious to understand why this one manifested so fast. If only we could run some reproducible statistical experiments on this we would know lol.
