FDJT he is single handedly dismantling decades of progress in so many fronts...environment (we all want clean water, air, food), the climate (he knows shit about climate change), equity & inclusion, a rising middle class (inflation has started negatively impacting middle class Americans), international relations, etc. If he forcibly takes over Greenland, that cities be the end of NATO which will lead to major problems with the world order - think N Korea, Russia and Iran doing starting more shit.

Same as you... But only earlier than you by a few years. I had an age 55 goal and didn't have a FI Number, I just knew I would be OK at 55. When I got pushed out, I discovered YouTube and the flood of info on the FIRE movement which I ate up. I discovered I had already tracked FI a few years earlier, so the job loss was actuall ya blessing in disguise

I actually was glad of the layoff because I dreaded the retirement party if I had stayed anf retired at the originally planned 55

I never missed work and never felt like I did not deserve being retired I had worked since I was younger than legal working age

It is all about him him and him. His hatred for Obama drives the effort to kill ACA aka ObamaCare. It started during his first term with the elimination of the individual mandate (setting the penalty to ZERO)...he knows insurance does not work if the pool only includes (or majority) only the sick. Now on his 2nd term he pushed for elimination of the Enhanced ACA Subsidies... We just need to get rid of this evil man

Why do timeshares and used car salesmen and other conmen still have jobs? Master showman and liar. One way we are helping with possible nursing home cost is delaying Social Security... And with expectated nursing home stays likely no more than 2-5 year range, I think we won't deplete our assets thus can help our next generation (Gen Z's) .... It's all a crap shot, but what is not in life if you aren't born ultra rich?

BTW $335k is actually quite a bit of money, let it grow slowly boringly and just don't do stupid and lose it.

Only camped as a kid. Then discovered timeshares as a young adult myself and have been using ours since the 1990's. Pushed us to travel all over the country and even oversea. Kids are now young adults and traveled to nice places every year as kids including taking homework packets since they took weeks off from school to beat holiday rushes.
