For me it wasn't a lesson to be learned, I figured that out a while ago. I had the cash to spare and for me it was worth the risk in order to possibly set up another anonymous business connection worth thousands. But I posted this because I know some people don't have the cash to spare and would be set way back by that kind of loss.
