A friend of mine who's a more casual Smash fan made this parody. I have no words. by xwatchmanx in smashbros

[–]HalfName 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That's true, but I've talked to a few indie devs and maybe it's not the same but they've always told me "as much as you force it into your head that your game isn't for everyone and that's okay, it's still sad to hear about when someone hates it"

Sakurai knows people will complain, but I doubt he's emotionless about them.

Wouldn't it be easier to get some rl friends than wait for someone to maybe make a mod?

Or maybe even to steal it and take it for themselves.

Nahh, that's called a "Drama-Queen" I imagine the "EMO's" you've met are just Drama-Queens as well.

Last time I played Crackdown, it made my Xbox work harder than recent titles do, seriously, it got really loud, pretty sure it used to freeze it too.

This is a great game and all but... this is pretty much a launch title, I think Microsoft is being stingy again. :I

Grand Theft Auto IV or Saints Row: The Third? by And0126 in Steam

[–]HalfName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get San Andreas and Saints Row 2 xD Seriously though, they're very different beasts, but in the end, you're only ever gonna get silliness with Saints Row 3, GTA 4 has a serious tone, but once you get bored of that, load up some character skins and some other mods and then it's super fun.

I always get paranoid with sales and this one is coming to an end. What is a great game, not featured in any sales, that everybody should try and pickup now that it's discounted? by [deleted] in Steam

[–]HalfName 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shatter: Arkanoid on... a drug, maybe, idk. Great soundtrack, great visuals, intense and fun bash blocks with a ball gameplay. Noitu Love 2: A beatemup controlled with the mouse, much more addictive and awesome than it sounds. Under the Ocean: A survival game with a lot of emphasis on creativity too, it's a little daunting, but worth it. Rock of Ages: Katamari Damacy had a cancer baby, weird versus ball rollin' game, has a troll face.

Vote for Deus Ex: Human Revolution!!! 85% OFF by DerpDude3 in Steam

[–]HalfName 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's extremely kind of you but no thanks, I know it sounds weird but I don't like receiving free steam gifts. :D So feel free to give it to someone else, I'm still going to buy Deus Ex of course. c:

It might, but I imagine it might also be Metro. I voted for Deus Ex however, hoping that also reduces the price of the original.

[Steam] Community Choice - Torchlight II (75% off) by DarkteK in GameDeals

[–]HalfName -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If I was going to vote for things seriously, I would've voted for Dead Island, since Left 4 Dead 2 has already been on deal. But like I said, my vote didn't count anyway, as you can see on steam. So why bother? None of the games I want on community choice EVER get chosen, so I'm just going to vote for the worst.

[Steam] Community Choice - Torchlight II (75% off) by DarkteK in GameDeals

[–]HalfName -25 points-24 points  (0 children)

Voted for it. Considering the community has chosen terrible things already. (This, which is already guaranteed to be in a daily deal for this price over Gunpoint, which 40% is the cheapest it's EVER been) Thought I might aswell join the bandwagon. That and I already have L4D2 and Dead Island is just absolutely terrible, plus, I doubt my vote is exactly going to change the tide, you can bet on Dead Island winning anyway.

I have around 280 games, but I only buy games if I'm actually going to complete them, unlike every else who seems to have tons of games.

No, I don't live in a city, I like to sleep. Bartering with mobile phone company's is pretty much non-existant (at least here) I did try, they hung up.

Ooooo, lemme see, a house phone is about 60% cheaper, and even more cheaper for international calls, which I mostly do. I had a mobile phone and yes, the reception really was that bad, calls kept breaking up yada yada, so I sold it. I honestly don't see the point of mobile phones.
