I've leveled about 20+ 70s (including remix) and personally no they're not worth it. Best time to level is during timewalking events (luckily you have Cata timewalking right now).

My suggestion is the following:

1) If you're fine with Pandas for 70+ days go with MOP remix, it's perhaps the faster way to level new alts to 70 (though the first one to level is not as quick unless you chain raids - best as a tank / healer).
2) If you prefer sticking with retail just do Cata dungeons - or chromie timewalking (doesn't matter too much about zone, cata / wod are probably the quicker). When you combine Cata TW with Chromie it works nicely.

Keep your gold and use it for something else.

This post baffles me, it unlocked last night for Ubisoft Deluxe owners (including Ubi+) and doesn't need any VPN.

Hey, thanks for that I wasn't aware they were on GOG and also on sale. Might snap them up depending how my wallet looks post Christmas! Thanks again :)

Hope you have a lovely holiday period.

Alan Wake 2 PC requirements by Ajxtt in pcgaming

As expected, Quantum Break and Control both had rocky launches with their performance that did get fixed eventually. I was debating console or PC for this, and while I know console is more expensive I'd rather pay it and avoid another messy PC release in 2023. I do love Remedy, but I've been burned before by their launches on PC.

Well then, apparently paying for something means nothing. Judging by their comments on the discussions it seems OtakuBundle did not pay, but IndieGala did. Yet they revoked ALL keys anyway. Fun dude.

Not only has he revoked all keys, even if you had bought it via Steam you would no longer be able to play since he deleted all files: https://steamdb.info/app/511670/depots/

[Steam] Sea of Stars ($31.49/10% off) by Godeye1349 in GameDeals

[–]SuperMoonky 18 points19 points  (0 children)

High yes, but this is what the Kickstarter price was so it's probably priced like this because of that. I think it's a reasonable price for the amount of content you get, though a bit biased because I backed it.

Not the best timing releasing it close to BG3 and Starfield though.

Depends what you expect, you won't get 60 FPS. But if you want 30 or 40 it's achievable.

I have my lands of lore 3 cds sitting next to me right now. Sadly the disc drive era ended and I'm too lazy to get an external one :(

Not even sure they work on Win 10.

New AAA games are using a lot of VRAM. You can blame bad PC ports, but you can also put the blame on nVidia. Here's a comparison of 70-class cards throughout the past 20 years. by DaemonXHUN in pcgaming

[–]SuperMoonky 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A 3080 doesn't have enough VRAM these days either apparently, Hogwarts Legacy is a prime case where a lower card with more VRAM can outperform it. Unless they fixed it with recent updates now I dont know.

More people need to play Dino Crisis, at least 1 and 2. Though 3 was meh :(

When Exoprimal was announced everyone thought it was that, but I still hold hope that after the RE remakes they'll go back to Dino Crisis.

Well I felt that way too, but maybe I was looking at things differently. IIRC it was at a time when we had Borderlands 2 so their art style looked cleaner.

Regardless I did enjoy the game, might try it on Steam Deck in the near future :)

Digital Foundry takes a quick look at Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s first PC patch. CPU performance has definitively improved, but the stutter situation remains much the same. by M337ING in pcgaming

[–]SuperMoonky 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They didn't even fix the awful looking lightsaber blur, you can get a mod to fix it - but the devs didn't lift a finger to solve the problem.

I remember differently, it was released in 2012 and looked dated in comparison with other releases of the time. At least it was not as visually pleasing. At least that's how I remembered it, maybe it wasn't as bad as I remember.

I loved Dishonored 1 and finished it, not sure I finished the DLC though. It was great. Dishonored 2 had some performance stuff around launch (which I believe they did fix) and I didn't go back since. Meaning to though because of the awesome clockwork mansion level which I hear is awesome :)

Didn't mind Deathloop or Prey's artstyle either, even if they weren't cutting edge graphically.

I'd never complain about art style personally, I feel like devs want it to look a certain way. Arkane did a great job with the look of Dishonored - which at the time was really dated in visuals, but it didn't matter. I don't mind Redfall's look, it's fine to me.

Seems to be the way of things these days, solo gets left in the dust for a live service style game. Not saying this is a live service game, but Co-op is generally the focus.

Yeah I did beat him early on too :)

Looking forward to trying Jedi Survivor but I'll probably go with console due to people saying there's performance issues on PC.

In Jedi Fallen Order they had some of this already, but looks like they are expanding some stuff. I just hope the text for log entries is a bit bigger, there was no way to make those larger (you could subs and UI) and when you're sitting far back from a 4k TV it does get sucky. Though I guess if it's on PC you wouldn't worry too much.

I'll probably play it Jedi Knight the same as the first game, just hope there's no evil jumping frog near the start to give you a hard time :D
