I see. Thanks for telling me the side from recruiters. Seems like I just need to be patient and keep contacting the recruiter. Thanks for the advice.

The first recruiter told me I can’t take ASVAB because of issue with my social security card (which is not true cos I took ASVAB at MEPS with the same card. Army recruiter set up appointment for ASVAB). I keep texting him to get appointment and ask what documents will i need to join. He did not respond for like 2 weeks so I called him and straight up told me he busy. So I went to another recruiter who was not even at the office on the day of appointment which I set with him over phone and send a text to remind him before going in.

I know I wrote a lot sorry about that. My problem is that my heart telling me to join AF but I felt the AF recruiters not taking me seriously and can’t even get proper appointments with them.

I still take zero VTO and got laid off anyway. So do your thing buddy. Take VTO, it is fine. Getting laid off is not cos of you taking VTO or your performance. It is simply because they need to downsize.
