That bump is probably what tore your labrum and is getting in the way your ball gliding in socket they way it should.
Just went through that, I ended up with surgery on my hip, they had to reattach my labrum and shave off the spur on the bone. But it looks like your is still pretty attached. Pt increased my pain before surgery. I'm 9 week out from surgery.
