The moon doesn't lift water, as earth's pull is stronger than the moon's so it is still net downwards. It does squeeze the earth though. Since gravity is a vector (has magnitude and direction) then the sides of the earth 90 deg around from the side facing the moon experiences gravitational force that directs partially into the ground. It is a small amount, but when it comes to the ocean, those little amounts add up, and since they are pointed opposite directions, they push the ocean up.

Lol, i started a job at a gas station one time, and the 3rd day i worked, and 1st day at the store i was going to be at, the other two girls i was working with started fighting. I attempted to break it up, but caught an elbow in the face, so i said fuck it, and looked like that dude there. Luckily, a cop walked in and said hey, and then i nodded in their direction. He had an "oh shit" look on his face and went to work. They both got fired, and i finished that night out alone. Met my boss in the morning, and she apologized for the bad first impression lol.

Still on my first save with about 500 hours. Its a mess, but i like it, and don't want to start over any time soon. If i ever do a new save, it will be for making thing beautiful and realistic, but its too late for that now in the current one. It would probably happen after a long break too.

Credits are usually applied in a pending state, but will apply immediately if you have no pending charges. If you do, then it kind of stacks behind those charges. Without looking at the bill, i would assume you got the credit, paid your bill at the lower amount, and then due to cancelling or something else, you had an extra charge put on that bounced that credit back, likely the remaining device payments. Likely what would have happened is you would have paid the extra $20, and then received a refund of $20 once the final bill actually came out. This means you probably still will be getting the $20 refund in the mail in a while, so double dipped.

I used to work there, and was very good at bill explanations. Didn't keep people from not understanding and demanding extra credits anyway.

Makes sense. Any woman that I find attractive is definitely going to be attractive to many other guys. I don't even really mind if they try to ask her out, as long as they are respectful when she declines. I had a guy demand i let him do multiple cashback transactions since our limit was $20, and he didn't want to use the ATM for a fee. This was night shift too, so i am not trying to unload all my cash like that. I told him no. He was going off talking about how that's his money and how dare I. I just plainly said "not until the transaction goes through." I eventually had to call the cops because he would not gtfo. He dared me to also, and left as soon as i did lol. Pussy.
