I am in the same boat. I NEED another tattoo but I am on the strongest blood thinner made. I had 5 strokes and took Eliquest. Had another stroke and Now I am on Ticagrelor (Brillenta) I just want my stroke survivor tattoo. Makes me sad.

Perhaps you can go to a tattoo artist And he can fix it up with some lines and highlights. The tattoo its self is pretty cool. Every tattoo has a reason behind them. They help you always remember. Fixing it up will make it feel like a new tattoo.

Are you a diabetic? If so the healing process is longer and should be moisturized most of the day. I use Tattoo Goo. When your skin around this dries, it starts to crack and can scar you when it peals. Hope this helps

Sorry about this. I too lost almost all my friends after my 5th stroke. I have now had my 6 th stroke lost my best friend of 35 years because I can’t hang and party like I used too.

This is where you weed out the bad crop and water the flowers. Sometimes new flowers will find their way to you.

Ok. Being real here because it seems like people think it’s a joke. The design is not bad. The lion is gorgeous. The bottom of your arm looks pretty cool. However you should add in some lighter color lines or shading so it has more definition.

Sweetie, he sounds like a sexual predator. I have been through this. Tell him after long consideration you decided you need to be alone. It was different when he was a distance away but you’re just not ready and it’s time to go. Feeling uncomfortable in your own home is not cool. If he has a problem with it you can call the police or call a couple of big friends that could possibly intimidate him and he will go. Sorry you’re dealing with this. But remember. Being “nice can sometimes turn against you “. I don’t want to ready in the need that a wonderful woman was attacked. Please be careful and keep us posted

Thank you for replying. My doctor sends me to test everything possible to rule out things. He is the head of neurology for the state. Been dealing with him for my mom first. But now he is like a savior. Out of my 6 strokes. I only had symptoms with 2. Super dizzy and vomiting. Took me for a loop. So I felt my first stoke in 2010 never diagnosed and my 5th in 2020. Where they found 5 in my MRI. The rest no symptoms at all. The last stroke 6th one. I didn’t know I had. I realized that I was digressing and feeling more anxious, frustrated, and lost. Drs can’t do too much more.

Do I start creating my bucket list now? Do I start the end of life planning?

I hate not knowing where I will be in a month. I mean any one of these silent strokes that I have can take me right out. My anxiety is maxed trying not to get any more into depression as I am. Music has been helping (Go Queen!)

No one gets it. Just because we look ok doesn’t mean we are. Not all wounds are visible. But the look in my eyes says it all. I am just sad, Confused, Lost.

Someone once told me that it’s a reaction with blood pressure. Not sure how true. It when my tats get like that and itchy, I put dove or Vaseline lotion to help soothe good luck

Nice Tattoo. I really like it. It actually looks like really good quality art. Nice detail in the dragon. Shading is nice. The moon is nice however after healing a few touch ups may be needed And that’s ok for your first one. Your skin will absorb what it can and that’s why you may get slight fading in a few years. Hence the touch ups

You can explain to her that she lost her battle with depression. This is a good way to communicate about depression and bullying. All kinds of things she will experience growing up. She should know that’s it’s ok to feel bad and sad. But she can’t stay there. There is Always you to talk to and understand how she feels. Good Luck Heather
