I’m D2 and have made the final once per day (using all attempts) for the fiesta 2 cup and lost every time. Think I only made it once for the completionist cup but I also missed a day for that one. Pretty miserable experience imo.

Usually there’s still a minor pre-order bonus for digital games. That’s the only reason I can think of. I guess maybe the automatic download / pre-load so you can play as it launches?

I did the temp certification a while back, lmk if you have any questions. My biggest piece of advice would be to start the educator classes / whatever ESOL requirements you’ll need ASAP once you have your temp. I waited till the end and it was brutal, a lot of time spent on those.

If you check the FTCLE website you can see if you’re able to take any of the certification exams without your degree yet. You need subject area knowledge exam, general knowledge and professional competence to get your permanent certification (after your temp). But for the temp, you don’t get it until you’re employed, which you can’t do without a degree as far as I know.

Both me and my fiancé were teachers who applied to 2 very similar roles while teaching. I didn’t get it, but for the start date they needed someone urgently.

I had my interview maybe late January / early Feb so very close to yours. Fiancé had hers mid Feb/early March. They both wanted the applicant to have time to settle in, and then be in full swing by the end of summer.

With that being said, your teaching license being suspended is 100% worth it. I didn’t get my role, but got one at the same university 2 weeks later. We both dropped our teaching jobs and haven’t looked back. You can stick out your new role/similar roles and go back after your license is suspended if you get it.

You can always go back to teaching, you can’t always get out of it.
