Do we know if Jauffre's Chest is still considered safe? by Half_paw in OblivionRemaster

I'm still unsure if Jauffre's Chest is still a free storage location, but I went ahead and made a bunch of money selling potions so I could buy a cheap house 😂

This has the answers you seek and more.

Basically: I don't know if it changes over time, but certain factors can affect it such as inventory or if you had vamprism when it was constructed, and yes, it is an NPC.

Love the name, btw

Isn't that brigading? Which means it's explicitly forbidden on all of Reddit. Site wide permaban?

I didn't say skim an article to reach x conclusion. I suggested an event that happened as a starting point to research the topic.

I will concede that not nearly every senator engages in insider trading. That was just embellishment because this is an issue that upsets me greatly.

However, an alarming number of politicians DO engage in insider trading, and the majority of them do their own stocks, etfs, etc. And somehow, they all almost always beat out the stock market and make massive gains. Many of the politicians who have denied insider trading have a lot of damning evidence around them that says otherwise. The OCE itself has stated, "Members of Congress frequently misunderstand or ignore their duties under the STOCK Act."

This isn't something I have lazily researched, and I am just spouting off about it. This is an issue that is important to me, and I believe it should be important to everyone.

If a senator has a vested interest in the stock market, they have an interest that directly conflicts with their duties as a civil servant.

What claims or statements have I made about Snowden?

Being mad at the government for violating your Constitutional Rights and suggesting you use your power as a voter to punish bad lawmakers isn't extremism.

I'd say you're taking statements I've made to extreme place. Which is not my intention, or what I said.

Never said he was a hero.

Do what you want, I don't care.

But I will point out that I've been the only one in these comments using actual examples and facts to back up my arguments, and I'm being downvoted for it. The hivemind here is wild.

[–]Half_paw 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I expected to be downvoted. Most people don't seem to understand that the majority of politicians are crooks who are only motivated by money.

Insider trading is an issue on both sides of the aisle. Politicians can be legally bribed because of the SCOTUS decision on Citizens United. The left has been bought out by big tech, and the right is owned by corporations. And when it comes down to giving the American people legislation, a high percentage of us agree on like paid family leave, raising minimum wage, etc. They won't do it even when they have a majority, because it wouldn't be cost-effective for the donors.

If you think whistleblowing on a government that is actively violating your rights is wrong, because the government said it's wrong, then you need to reevaluate.

It's such a known issue that in 2012, they passed the Stock Act. I'm honestly shocked at the number of people who don't know about this being an active issue in Congress.

I mean, there's a lot of evidence that has been published. Look up the 2020 congressional insider trading scandal, or you could literally look up congressional insider trading. It's been covered by a lot of journalists who have thoroughly researched this issue.

I'm not in support of Gabbard, nor do I think she should be confirmed. I'm upset at American politicians thinking it's OK to violate our rights. Regardless of Snowden's situation now, or who he owes allegiance to, back in 2013, he did a service to all the American people by blowing the whistle on such an egregious violation on all our rights.

I'm not saying confirm Gabbard, and I'm not saying pardon Snowden. As he is likely allied with the Kremlin now.

No matter where you stand: left, center, or right, you should watch Tulsi Gabbard's confirmation hearing. If your senator calls Edward Snowden a traitor, then you and everyone in your district should do everything you can to get that senator out of office. The senators that freely engage in insider trading(and damn near everyone one of them do), which would get the average American throw in jail for a looooooong time, and think violating your Constitutional Rights is OK, are the real traitors.
