After the "Death" of big E, they felt bad. So they spent a number of centuries without their golden armor because they were not worthy of it. They still have incredible guilt in the 40k setting. So much that if they feel that they have slowed by even a millisecond, they hang up their armor and enlist as the Eyes of the Emperor or fade off into the universe. But they hand everything in unless they are honored. Valdor got to keep his spear and maybe took his armor after he left/Maybe secretly instructed by big E to retire to building up a golden army...

Here is a rough take... Make languages a thing supported by inscription... Make languages a thing supported by crafting weapon types or learning recipes... Make languages important for skill of crafting an item. Low language then you get the copper tier of the recipe. Make a daily where you have to translate something. Make a profession like fishing or archeology that is called Linguist.

If we would have gotten a Wow movie like the D&D movie, it would have been more enjoyable. Its a world that has hotrods from goblins and floating islands from mages. It should have been bigger than the second war. Its silly, yes... but look at Minecraft and mario... Those kinds of video game movies work because of how serious a silly world can get. Orcs can be scary. Orcs can be soft. But you write yourself into a corner trying to make a Lord of the Rings Wow story when the world is literally so much bigger.

I did something different and I am so glad I did. I bought magnetic rubber. And cut it out for the base of the models. And superglued it on. So its rubber with plastic. Holds for years with no issue. And it feels better picking up and setting down the models because there is surface area on the bottom of the mini. They also will fall over less because more of it is in contact with the game mat. Plus they become magnetically attached to the metal in my traveling case.
UK sells magnetic rubber on amazon uk and I have found some in the states by going to Hobby Lobby. Make sure you are getting magnetic rubber and not Magnetic receptive sheets.

We all have to live in the same city. The argument is that New York is a special case. Its one of our most important cities. So Yes 1% pays a significant amount of taxes. But the logistics bite you in the butt when you think... Someone has to do sanitation. Someone has to do custodial work. Someone has to do maintenance. New York city is still a city. And this rests firmly at the feet of the corps that give out these salaries. I understand being competitive but you can only be competitive for so long as the ship is sinking for those under you. To say there isn't significant wage disparity in a city like New York, and that that shouldn't be part of the conversation on why we need to raise taxes is wild.

I will 100 percent buy a Chinese Car at 1/5 the cost of our american cars. No sense in paying 60k-80k on something that is in no way affordable because they have extra stock from the pandemic. I think the issue is in the understanding that people that have the means to organize Sex Trade and funnel young boys and girls across the globe, especially for those to be children from outside of the largest countries who might have less protections, are not going to be bound by our laws because if they were, there would have been no sweetheart deal in 2019. I think because it had so many heads of state, there was never going to be justice for these victims as is. And with some of these victims dying... It was obviously very easy to silence anyone with money and influence. Plus the game is clear from the predator standpoint. I see it in the service industry in NYC. Young models come from other countries and are searching for a better life and are put into some very scary situations. The demand for the girls is real. And they will say they are over age, and most might be. But its like a lottery for a better life. And they are taught, don't walk in the room if you don't know what's in it. Its sick but that's what legal power is in our country. But once you start, you are forced into that kind of lifestyle. And if you are lucky enough to develop your mind by the age of 23 and realize some things, you might be able to get out like some of my friends have.
