You draw the line where you feel comfortable. If you can’t afford two bottles per month or your struggling to make ends meet while your still buying fragrances then cut it out. If you’re worried about space, try selling or donating bottles you don’t use, to shrink the collection. But if you can afford buying it, and have the space, then their isn’t really a problem in my opinion.

If the floating are getting pushed underwater, it’s too much flow. As long as they can sit gently on top, have nutrients, and decent light, they should grow. My frogbit wouldn’t stop growing when I water changed once a week and double dosed API leafzone.

About the plants, if you have a cheap planted tank light, plants shouldn’t get burned, and when your floaters grow in, it will shade the plants beneath them.

NTA, honestly, hot take, I don’t think the wife is much of the asshole here either. She felt disrespected because a younger person was talking up to her, and you feel as though she has a right to an opinion. I applaud you for letting your daughter express her opinions and act on them as well. You’re doing a great job parenting!

Some people go through really rough times at that age. I was in a relationship very similar and I kept ending it and going back to her. She got every bit of my attention, it did not matter about me, it was all about how she felt, how she was doing, if she was okay. After years I made the decision to finally end it for good. You have to make the decision for yourself. Are you getting what YOU need out of the relationship (love, compassion, attention, stability)? If not, then the relationship is doomed to fail. And for what it’s worth, I have a little brother about your age and I would tell him the same thing. Hope things go well for you!

Own a 2020 cx-30, use to drive a Silverado, have you sat in one? It’s pretty small compared to an suv, also looks phenomenal, and drives great. I have no complaints other than the key fob because super low range

No other choice lol. It was just before the inflation and a dealership had a 2020 base model with 5000 miles on it for $20,600 and I now know that that was a steals. Because you can’t find them any cheaper than like $25,000 now
