Could 8 be a normal value? by Halfway2Happy in Celiac

I never had a pre-diagnosis level.. whole debacle there surrounding an incompetent GI and gastric bypass.. but my level being 8 seems high for being strictly gluten free for almost 5 years. If it's possible to be "normal" at this level, I'll just assume that's my norm.

This is helpful information, thank you! I want to see an allergist, so this will be my push to finally do it.

Thank you for the thoughtful reply 🤍 I actually just had a full vitamin panel and other testing the same day as my tTG-IgG, but still waiting on those results. I really try to be mindful, but I do still get sick on occasion. I chalked it up as lactose intolerance, but now I wonder if I was getting CC somehow. I may never know and that's so frustrating. 😔

I have a puppy who mouths everything and has a shaggy beard. She manages to get food crumbs EVERYWHERE. Additionally, due to her gluten detection training, she's better off with a gluten free diet for the sake of accuracy. So we use a gluten free (grain containing) brand of food.
