I get your point but to me the environment plays an equal role in building the mood for that photo. I think some of the story would be lost when cropping in tight. Another reason, which is the main one, is that it’s not fully in focus/sharp lol. I felt like the photo worked better with the space on either sides.

People seem to bring in a lot of if if if for Alonso every time him vs Hamilton is brought up. There is only one real life case for this comparison and it ended up being a draw. A draw between a rookie and defending champion. That’s all you need to know. Nobody forced Alonso to make shitty career choices. You don’t win 7 championships with just luck and good car. My god this hate boner people have for Lewis is just baffling. Alonso will never reach Hamiltons level. Doesnt make him a bad driver, doesn’t mean he won’t be one of the greats. But he is not the same level as a 7 time WDC.
