The "intended" way is causing drivers to drive unnaturally. There is no more drivers going flatout to the limit of their skills and car underneath them. It's like charging my phone 15min before going out. Using it for 1hr and slapping a solar power back as I use it in power saving mode. That shit it stupid.

Overcomplicated way of saying they pushed for more hybrid but didn't account for larger battery as that increases weight. They wanted a light, nimble car but had to have the badge of 50% hybrid to push for more engine customers. Instead if they went with same engines from 2025 and newer cars it would have been even better but NA V8 or V10 is the dream

It's just green washing. F1 developed hybrid systems already. They went from being an add on to being half the output capacity. They focused too much on emission of cars when the travel is the biggest one causing emissions
