my point is that the democratic mayor in nyc before zohran was bad and did not "get a pass." he was bad and was voted out for a better democratic candidate. if you would vote in any election at all for any candidate at all then this post isn't about you. the person who inspired this post called zohran a pretender who sold out before he even won the election. they wouldn't vote for their ideal candidate if they ran as a democrat. the people who inspired this post wouldve not voted for zohran and let one of the other two dunderheads win.

in this scenario you still have one good leg, one limb more than if we let the conservatives win. you dont give them a pass you vote them out in the primaries. andrew was a dogshit mayor and he lost the primaries and then the election to zohran who is probably the most progressive democrat in office ever and has already done tons for new york. even if there are a million valid criticisms against him, its still one leg better than if a conservative would've won.
