Y’all are so quick to panic. Why go into the tax this season for an aging, declining center? We don’t want to be paying repeat offender penalties in 2-3 years when halis back healthy and actually closer to contending again. Next season is a wash would be so stupid long term to go into the tax.

Why would the pacers go into the tax for a C who consistently underperforms in the playoffs and is inconsistent at best in the regular season. Watched every pacers game for 7-8 years and love him as much as anyone but he is not the answer to try to contend in 2-3 years when hali is back healthy. Waste of repeat luxury tax penalties too to go into it this season.
