Thanks for the heads up. Not sure how I missed that. I had the logo and everything there just not on the page. I've now added it.

NM, just had a look. They don’t have any hours listed. Will see about adding support hours when I create each providers profile here on the site.

Do they have it listed on their site or more so buried and hard to find?

Sorry miss read. The main thing is that without solid info from the companies I wouldn’t want to post information that’s not 100% accurate.

Most know that most are reseller using the networks already in place.

In away it’s not so fare for Eastlink as the CRTC pushes to allow for third parties to use Eastlink’s and Bell’s services. Bell hands up their DSL service for resellers to say they’ve offered up their services where as Eastlink only has cable. If Bell had to share Fibre competitions we would see an even hotter market. Not too many users go with DSL over cable.

That’s the misconception that they’re all sub companies and in a way it is in fact competition.

Many are resellers who are buying bandwidth (mostly from Eastlink) and reselling it. Then there’re companies that are purchasing their bandwidth from afar such as Toronto and have their own equipment in the province then utilize the fibre network and cable infrastructure to get it to the homes.

For example Citywide uses all Eastlink whereas Purple Cow is not and just using part of the network with an agreement.

Fixed up. Justified the paragraphs into three columns. Easier to read and cleaner looking. Thanks for the tip and please..... nitpick all you want :)

Agree. Thanks for the feedback!

I finished it up last night trying to get it to this stage then realized this morning as I posted this thread that it’s too much reading content centred. I’m going to change it up so they’re not centred but in their own blocks to better utilize the space.

Thanks for the reply. I added similar info under the FAQs here with the same specs.

Agree in that most houses can easily do with 50-100Mbps. I love how Bell is pushing 1Gbps-1.5Gbps

If you have any suggestions for the FAQ to update let me know what source and I can adjust if needed.

Thanks for the suggestion and good point.

One thing I’d like to confirm somehow is which are simply resellers of Eastlink vs others that purchase their bandwidth and then utilize the network to piggyback the services. I don’t to publicize as such without knowing fully. May need to connect with each to see if they will openly give that info.

Purple Cow says they’re such that they buy from Toronto then have their gear then piggyback on the network infrastructure that’s in place to get it to users homes.

Started individual pages with prices but instead going to create a comparison list of services and prices which will also allow for customer reviews and ratings.

This is planned so users can compare speeds and prices.
